In love <3
I originally purchased my first bottle from this company earlier this month directly from their website. Right out of the box I fell in love with it, and my only issue was the smell another customer had mentioned before. It's a slight, dull type of wet wall paint smell (the really weak kinds) that I was initially very worried about because my sense of smell since my hysterectomy two years ago is Hannibal Lecter-levels of strong and causes all kinds of problems, but thankfully I've had great luck with letting the bottle air out for two days before use, and keeping the water as cold as possible. (Contact with warm or hot water during cleaning seems to temporarily re-activate it, and I've found that immediately rinsing it with cold water afterwards shuts the smell back down.) I also keep the cap off when it's not in use overnight so that I can keep the bottle aired out.Thankfully, even at it's strongest, it does not affect the taste of the water at all or bother me when I do smell it again sometimes during drinking, so if that's a concern for you like it was for me, I swear it's fine. And if it isn't for you, that's what the refund policies are for.The bottle is also durable as hell. I'm a hotel housekeeper, and my original bottle took two accidental falls before shattering the cap - but the bottle never even took as much as a scuff. And the cap somehow still worked and can even still be recharged, even though it's currently in six pieces. Customer service was kind enough to ship me a replacement for free, but I didn't get that email until after I'd ordered this replacement on Prime day, so now I have a backup. Absolutely worth it.The customer service is also so, so kind. Yeah, it's weird that aside from emailing them, you can contact them via WhatsApp. But they are so helpful and nice on both platforms (I've personally used both this month) that I don't mind. It's like having IT on speed dial.I've only had one hiccup on the app so far, and the fix was pretty instant. The bottle construction is amazing and sturdy and the cap, which is very well made (don't let the accidents fool you, both falls were from 5ft up) is such a wonderfully executed bit of technology. I do recommend for my fellow non-desk workers to keep it secure, however, just to avoid mishaps like mine because while it IS well-built, it's not indestructible. (I personally use Calpak's Water Bottle Holder, which holds it like a glove, to keep it secure and safely moveable because my job is high speed that accidents are just an occupational hazard.)All in all, so far after a month and some journeys, I'm still in love. The achievements, with the unlock able light features and other rewards, the lights themselves (my crow brain likes the shiny things, ok?), the community in the app, and the costumer service paired with this bottle have just made its such a pleasure to help me stop needing IVs lmao. And sure, it's a little pricier than that one other competitor on the market, but at least there aren't entire subreddits dedicated to its app crashing. Also, they apparently have a Shabbat mode in development and I'm so excited for that.Seriously, try it. <3

Good👍
Worked well for about a year before the battery malfunctioned but when I contacted support they were quick to replace it without questions asked. No payment needed and they gave me another with the option of what size and color I wanted and within 2 days it was at my door

One of the best decisions I did for myself
I had a brutal case of kidney stones that landed me in the hospital and required two surgeries. I walked away from this excruciating experience with three key lessons:1. Some pain is unimaginable until you feel it.2. When it’s serious, always get a second opinion.3. If I don’t want to repeat the experience (gosh, I don’t!), I must start drinking more water. That last one sounds simple, but I was never a "water person." I knew I had to build a habit fast — but how? Then, someone on our team suggested I try a smart water bottle. Honestly, a smart bottle sounded like a gimmicky and not-so-smart idea. But I gave it a shot and ordered the first one that came up in an Amazon search. It was a complete failure – clunky, unreliable, and with impossibly short battery life. I ordered a different bottle, which turned out to be worse than the first one. I was ready to give up but decided to try one last bottle. That’s how I found Water.io, which changed my water-drinking life. The way it works is simple but brilliant: The bottle looks and feels like a regular water bottle, but the magic is in the cap. A built-in sensor tracks every sip you take (when the water level drops) and every refill (when it rises). From there, it can track your drinking in real-time and provide reminders, nudges, and motivation. This is done on the bottle itself (lights, colors, buzzing) and in the Bluetooth-connected app (progress bars, streaks, leaderboards). It essentially gamified water drinking and made it quantifiable and fun. The result? I tripled my daily water consumption – and stuck with it.If drinking more water has been challenging for you, I highly recommend it. Sometimes, the right tool makes all the difference. 💧
