Best Idea Ever
The Redchef pans with the removable handle are such a great idea. I don't know why no one thought of this before. I love cooking, cleaning, and storing them. I've bought some as gifts, too. I got an extra handle just in case. There's a trick to removing them easily. Just pull back on the clamp and kind of push down on the handle instead of sideways, and it comes right off.

You will love these handles
Wow, what a great idea! Well, I guess because the cookware can go in the oven, removable handles might be a goo idea but then I've see other pans that go right in the oven handle and all. The benefit to a removable handle is that it's impossible to burn yourself on the handle by accident (ask me how I know). They're sturdy and keep the pan stable, light weight, are beautifully colored to match the pan scheme, ... I ordered TWO of them just because I misplace kitchen things all the time. But I always leave the handle attached after using the pan so at least I'll always know where one is! NOTE: I don't leave it attached while cooking even though they say they will withstand high heat up to 850degrees (!). I'd rather just have a cool handle. BTW: the Redchef Ceramic Pots and Pans Set ARE NOT TO BE MISSED. If you're tired of eggs sticking -- along with everything else -- these are the perfect pan - I've tried so many :( And if you want to keep them non-stick: DON'T SHOVE THEM INTO THE SINK OR PUT COLD WATTER ON THEM TO RINSE THEM IMMEDIATELY AFTER COOKING. Just let them cool down and when cool to the touch, RINSE THEM in the sink but DON'T WASH them. That'll keep them seasoned. If you worry about germs, rinse them lightly (don't scrub) before you re-use them. I've been using these for almost TWO YEARS and haven't died yet. And they're still just as non-sticky as the day I took them out of the box!!!!

Wishing I had extra cover.
I like this product. I got a 5 piece set but would have love to get a cover with each pot. I bought this handle to have one for each pot. Still wished I had an extra cover.

Pots and pans are good, handles are terrible and break easily.
UPDATE 9/15: Seller said they would give me a refund on the handle and told me to put that towards a lid from elsewhere since they won't send a replacement lid. I never received a refund. Seller is dishonest. Buy products from elsewhere. UPDATE 8/31: After going back and forth with the seller, they refuse to acknowledge that their products are subpar and honor warranty. BOTH handles in my original set were broken, and I had to pay to replace one. Seller sent me one handle as a replacement. One of the lids somehow burned and is now essentially crumbling so I can't use it. First they told me they couldn't send a replacement lid because they ship the whole set from China and that I should just buy a new lid separately elsewhere. Then they said "oh, we checked your lid item number, and it started doing that because you used it under high heat so it's not covered under warranty". So which is it? First they supposedly couldn't send just the lid replacement and now they're saying oh no, it's just not covered by warranty. BTW I have NEVER used the lids or handles under high heat. We only use the lids for simmering (lowest heat) and the handles for mixing or moving the pans so they're never on high heat and never even on for more than a minute or two. There are MANY products like this. Shop elsewhere and get from a company with better customer service who stands by their product. I tried contacting the seller for a replacement but didn't receive a response. We received a set of their pots and pans for Christmas. The pots and pans are pretty good, and we are happy with them. However, the handles and lids are awful. It came with two handles and two lids of different sizes. For starters, the handles burn easily and start to turn brown quickly. We didn't leave the handles on while cooking for the most part so there's no reason that should have happened, yet it happened to all three handles that we got (including this replacement) fairly early on. One of the original handles started getting stuck and became very hard to put on and remove after about 6 months. After about 7 months, the second handle got completely stuck on and had to be pried off by us once the pan cooled. This should not be happening with one handle, much less two, after less than a year of use. One of the lids also somehow got damaged where the underside was burnt somehow and is now flaking/crumbling off in some places so it's not safe to use because pieces of the rubber might fall into the food. These handles are quite expensive for just one replacement handle, considering the cost of the entire set. Add on to that the fact that we already had to replace them after just over half a year, and it's not a great experience. The pots and pans themselves are good. The lids and handles are terrible, and replacing them is expensive compared to what the full set costs.

Cool hack
I am using this handle as a second handle to make it easier to carry and pour from heavy pots. Having a second handle really helps with the weight if you don’t have full strength in your hands or arms. It also gives you more control when emptying the pot into a colander or container. I am also using this handle with my mixing bowls which have fairly straight sides. It’s nice to have a handle to grip while mixing. The only con is that the handle doesn’t seem to clamp as securely as I would like so it wiggles a bit. Not a problem for a second handle but it might be problematic as a solo handle. Fyi, there are cookware sets that have 9-12 pieces that have removable handles like these that sell for $39-$59, which have one (or sometimes two) of these handles included. So for the price of 2 of these handles you can have a complete set of cookware. I didn’t need anymore cookware so I just bought this handle.

Works great with Carote cookware
Purchased this to use with my Carote cookware, as the set I purchased came with only two handles. It fits and functions perfectly.
