I had zoom 505 from decades ago, upgraded to zoom g2x-four, but lot of fret noise coming thru. Boss GX-10 at least first impression, sound quality is awesome, I don't think every effect has a noise gate, so I'm out signal processing is really high quality. Also the effects sound really good, ones that have sustain, it's easy to.. sustain :) Touch screen is great bonus. Knobs and buttons seem meaningful. Pedal controller turns on tuner when completely turned off, neat! Good connecticity! Got the Bluetooth module too, so can stream drum loops from android (audio only). There's midi but it's just time synch, patch changing, volume control etc. Device is sturdy, heavy! Feels high quality. Lookng at the effect chain and all the options, learning curve is probably high! Cost was more than Zoom G2X, but had I known I would've bought this over zoom with no regrets! Time will tell if it leaves to expectations. OH the boss tune BTS android app, it's so hard to find, Roland website doesn't even have links to it :) Haven't tries pc/Mac version yet, there's new firmware available. Android app can't be used to update firmware. Not at least via Bluetooth, didn't try USB cable.

An excellent piece of equipment. As good as Fractal. Bit of a learning curve and don't expect too much in the way of a "How to Use" owner's manual. All music gear manufacturers seem to be happy with You Tube tutorials. The GX10 will provide you with professional sounding effects and then some. It's the same as the GX100 but in a smaller unit. Enjoy ! !

Excellent processor! Nice to have a smaller emulator for quick shows. It does have a bit of a learning curve to it but once you understand it’s layout it get real easy to have it do anything you need. And I love the fact you can alos use the BT-Dual wireless box & use my Roland FS1-WL footswitch with it as well! And Alto Music is great, I usually just order direct from them, have bought. A few high end guitars from them & is a great company to work with.

I had some issues until I realized I needed to apply the v1.4 upgrade. The Boss GX10 is extremely versatile, howeverI I didn't use the presets, I've downloaded a bunch of patches from the Boss library and then tweaked them a bunch. I've used both the Windows app and touch screen to manipulate the sound chain and I've been very impressed with my results. I use the GX10 with a Fender Stratocaster to play worship music in church. I connect the GX10 mono out to an XLR direct box that is fed directly to the mixer, so I appreciate that the amount of models that are built in. I don't stomp a lot within a specific song, so I find the single control foot switch adequate for my use. I use the effects pedal a lot for swells.

I own a lot of equipment in this modeling realm. This one is very easy to use and has pretty good tones. I did have to buy the Bluetooth adapter separately (booo). It's great if you really like the sound of traditional Boss pedals.

Muy buena pedalera, es la primera boss que tengo y no me está quedando mal, aún no he tenido el tiempo para dedicarle a la configuración pero lo que he podido moverle todo bien, muy diferente a mi digitech rp1000.
