i always worry about ordering books online in case they get damaged on the way. The book came on time and was flawless. Needless to say, this is a great book to anyone interested in teaching ELLs. I think it's more suitable for grad school, rather than using it as a core text in an undergraduate course, for example. It is so informative. I wish the font was slightly bigger, though.

This book is FULL of data and studies, but somehow it just doesn’t translate well to actual information. I’d read a chapter and then try to think how I could apply what I learned to my classroom, and there was never very much to take away. I think if you’re looking for stats and studies about bilingualism and especially bilingual education, this book is for you. If you’re looking for an introduction to help with how to practically educate bilingual students, this is not for you.

I had met Ofelia's work last year in a CLIL introductory course and now I bought one of her books.The physical structure of the book is good, the delivery was faster than usual, and, of course, the content will help me on my teaching.
