Luigi Bormioli4-Piece Bowl Set

A rather nice condiment set, well made and a good size. One note, this is the second item shipped, the first was rusty. Amazon replaced it quickly but that's been the only downside. It's very useful and goes with about everything.

It looks very small as compared to the pic. The bowls are not deep enough , so returning it.

I received my first one as a gift off my wedding registry. It came with 2 sets of bowls and was missing the black stand. So I returned it and ordered a replacement. The second one came with the correct pieces, but when I set the whole thing up I realized it was off balance. The stand was not even and always had one "leg" off the table. I am very disappointed because this item has such great reviews and would be really useful if it was made and packaged well. Not sure if I'm going to risk buying a third one.

Very nice and just as described. I bought this for a wedding gift from their registry and when it came, I took it out of the box to make sure everything was OK before wrapping it up. All was fine and it looks very nice. Make sure to check dimensions as the pictures tend to make it look bigger than it actually is, but for smaller items like nuts, etc. I think it is just perfect. Love the elegant design.

The box has the brand name "Luigi Bormioli" in script print and below the maker name is the word "Italy". However, the piece is manufactured in China. (It is unfortunate that Amazon still does not require clarity about where items are manufactured for all products listed on Amazon.)CONCERNS:Aside from the misleading marketing, I can offer two minor pieces of constructive criticism and a warning about the piece itself.Concern 1:The joint welds on this piece were not well done and typical of large-scale manufacturing done in China. Good joint welding is practically seamless in its appearance. In this piece, one can easily see the joint welds on the metal frame. (Typically, though not always, joint welding done in Europe and the USA is often of much higher quality).When food that has color which provides a contrast with the dark metal frame is placed in the glass bowls, then the eye is naturally drawn to the color of the food and away from the metal frame. So, the joint welding isn't as noticeable when food with color in it is placed in the bowls. However, when I use the piece to serve: chocolate, nuts, and foods which lack brighter colors (like greens, oranges, reds, yellows, etc.), then the joint welding is much more noticeable.If you are going to be serving food with color in it, then you may want to consider purchasing this piece. If you are going to be serving nuts, chocolates, and things which lack colorful hues, then you may want to purchase another piece.Concern 2:The three glass bowls are not professionally blown/constructed--as there is a ridge around the the inside top lip of the glass bowls.Also, while the glass is thick, it is NOT shatter-resistant. So, it's important to be very careful while cleaning the glass. If you break just one of the three bowls, then you instantly have a worthless set. (It's too bad they don't offer this item with stainless steel bowls.)OVERALL:Clean simple lines. It's a great piece for small meals or gatherings. This piece often gets a compliments when I have friends or family over when there are foods that have colorful hues in the glass bowls. The set has a high utility & good aesthetic when used with food with brighter colors; however, there is a risk of breakage during cleaning, which if it were to occur would render the set useless.

Nice looking but I think the bowels move around on the stand too much. If I use it on the patio I will have to tape it or else it may fall out of the holder. Glass bowels are loose.

No surprises here. The item is exactly as it looks in the image. It's thick glass and fits well in the frame. Perfect for parties.

Love it. I have two and use them every party; one on the bar, one on the patio table. Great for an assortment of nuts.Sturdy and durable (so far - 10-12 uses). Stand seems built well and glass trays are thick and dependable.

Love this, works great the quality is great, so worth buying.
