I purchased for "off-label" use to apply herbicides... ex. into the stalks of difficult to eradicate stolon spreading plants. From first evaluations of this syringe loading it with water & testing it out... it looks great for my use. I appreciate the smaller dosage this injector supports and the ergonomics of its design - easy to load, adjust, and use, and appears durable.

I ordered this for an "off-label" use. I have a mad scientist costume, and I wanted a good prop, but Halloween prop syringes are always either a) tacky, oversized cartoony ones or b) weird steampunk-ish ones with a skull on it or the like. A true film prop syringe, with a fake "blood draw" mechanism and telescoping needle, is very cool but very expensive, and I also wanted something with a more "Resident Evil" vibe. This type of syringe with a trigger mechanism and a shape that reminds you of a gun is the exact vibe I wanted. It looks real because it IS real! Heavy metal construction, thick plastic, and a satisfyingly loud ratcheting click on actuation, what more can you ask for? It does not come with any needles, so you will need to supply your own needles regardless of your purposes. I am using a blunt-tipped industrial needle, so I get the cool and intimidating look without the hazard of impaling myself or someone else. You can use any size needle since it's Luer-Lock, attaching it is very easy. The instructions are not very detailed, but I'm going to assume if you're buying this for its intended purpose, you don't really need them to figure out how to use it, so I won't deduct any points.
