Creates a Wonderful Blacken Effect!
My metal kitchen torch has a sturdy feel to it and performs exceptionally well. I've used it to roast peppers to perfection, giving them a delicious, smoky flavor. It's also ideal for melting cheese on my homemade onion soup, adding that beautifully browned, gooey layer on top.Caramelizing sugar on fruits like peaches and pineapples is another way I put this tool to good use. The torch quickly creates a delightful caramel crust without compromising the fresh, juicy interior. It also works great for carefully blackening roasted chicken, adding a delectable char that enhances both flavor and presentation. The versatility of this kitchen torch is impressive. There are countless foods that can be transformed with its precise heat, making meals more appealing and delicious. I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to try the SAKER Butane Torch Lighter, Refillable Blow Torch with an Adjustable Flame. It's a fantastic addition to any kitchen, and I believe every cook should have one in their culinary arsenal. The ease of use and impressive results make it a truly valuable tool.

Seems to be good quality
This is the first kitchen torch I've ever owned so I have nothing to compare it to. It doesn't come with the fuel so you have to buy that separately. Initially I thought that was dumb but after looking at several others it seems that none are shipped with the fuel so it must be some sort of safety issue. This appears to be well made, it's solid but not too heavy. The torch as well as the fuel came with several different tips and it wasn't clear which one should be used to fill it even after reading the instructions. I used the one that looked like it fit both the torch and the fuel can but it just leaked fuel all over the bottom or the torch. After several tries I realized I didn't need to use a tip at all. Once I figured out how to do it, there was no leakage so I chalked the leakage up to user error, especially since I've never used one of these before. Once it was filled I found it easy to operate. The knob that opens the gas flow is easy to operate with one hand. The torch ignites efficiently with a single pull of the trigger once the flow knob is opened slightly. The flame is adjustable by dialing the knob with your thumb. The flame extinguishes by closing the flow knob completely. The only thing I think would be nice is a gauge to let you know the gas level. Perhaps larger more expensive units have that feature. I'll only be using this occasionally for browning meringue so this is a nice starter unit and should serve my purpose well.

leaks like a sieve
As soon as I filled it, all gas escaped from the seal at the top of the cylinder. Unsafe to ignite due to escaping gas.At this time, I can't recommend this item. It's a shame because the build quality and finish is phenomenal. My wife and I were both disappointed as we really wanted to use it haha

Not just for the kitchen.
This torch is surprisingly well built, and stylish. It is also, very easy to operate, and versatile. It works much better than my similar-sized propane torch, without the bulk of having a small tank, or the propane smell.Though I haven't found a reason to (except a joking one, which I will get to/explain the photo later) I like that the base screws off, if yo really need to make it "portable".The flame adjustment is a bit "sensitive" but that is a good thing. I suggest that any time it is used/lighted (first time, and thereafter) that you turn the know just a tiny bit, then go from there. The adapters, to me, were pretty much useless, especially since most inexpensive cans of butane (I prefer Ronson and Zippo) work fine. The "joke" ALWAYS KEEPING SAFETY IN MIND part: It also makes an interesting decoration/conversation piece. One of my friends while looking at my shelf, said, "this is an interesting new addition, to your shelf". He, even though a good friend, just has to "handle things". I said, "let's do that, outside, where we smoke cigarettes, and I will show you that it IS NOT a fancy water hose sprayer. That being said, it won't be used for that purpose, again, and it went back to where it "belonged", until I need it, for another handy-man project.

Big torch
It is bigger than I expected. All metal build seems like quality and it is heavy.8 did not have problems with leaking but it is hard to tell how much charge there is lefgood flame size. Good value and functional. 9 use it for cleaning up 3d prints so not o ot for the kitchen.

Solid Metal
This is a professional quality kitchen torch. It is made of solid, heavy stainless steel. The flame adjustment is sensitive, giving a wide range of flame length. It comes with three different tips to accommodate different types of butane cans. The food grade butane can I bought had the correct tip on it, so I didn’t need one of the included tips, but it was nice to know I had them. When I ordered the butane, I had no idea what kind of tip it would come with. I also very much like that the base of the torch is wide, making it very stable and not easy to knock over when you set it down. I’m very impressed.

Makes me feel dangerous!
I feel like I could really do some damage with this thing!! Definitely keep away from children.. some adults as well! Anywho, I ordered this after the previous torch I'd picked up on vine was absolute trash - this one is MUCH MUCH MUCH better!! It's heavy duty and it works well. Actually holds gas. I use it for keeping my sage lit and lighting incense charcoals... does a great job! Though a bit inconvenient to store, it's kinda huge.
