I hope this will help keep my Scribe scratch free. The elevated angle it generates is great and solid. All fixtures and closures are by Magnet, which work very well... and better than I expected.

I absolutely love this product! It has everything I need in one gadget. I love to read and have owned a Kindle of some kind for many years, the last one before this being the Kindle Oasis, which I loved for the buttons and ease of turning the pages. However, the battery seemed to drain really quickly. The first one I had stopped working, it was within warranty, so Amazon exchanged it quickly and without quibble, which was great but I still wasn’t happy with the battery life. I researched the Scribe for a long time and I do mean, a long time! I was concerned about the weight of it but so very drawn to the size of screen (less page turns) and the writing function, as I am still someone who prefers hand written over typed text, any day. I gave in to temptation three weeks ago and boy am I glad I did. The screen size is fabulous, the battery life is so much better than the Oasis, which considering the size and the extra functionality, you would think it wouldn’t be. With the Oasis, I was constantly having to dim the screen, turn flight mode on to keep WiFi off etc, just to prolong battery life. With the Scribe, its lasting well over a week, even though it’s used a LOT, every day without fail. I’m reading loads but I’m enjoying writing on it too. It genuinely is as close to writing with an actual pen and paper as you can get and I really enjoy it. I don’t need to use it between different devices, so I can’t comment on how that works or doesn’t work, I just love that I have all my notebooks in one place, it’s easy to switch between them and, also easy to get from them back into your books library. The only thing I regret about this purchase, is not doing it sooner, back when I first started researching them. I got it in the Prime Day deals and am more than happy. As for the weight, which was the concern that held me back, there is no denying that it is much heavier, I can still comfortably hold it and read in bed though, so not complaining, just can’t deny it would be better if it was lighter. I wouldn’t want it to be lighter though at the expense of the things it can do.

Beautiful texture and style, but for people who use the Scribe as a reader as much as I do, this is NOT a comfortable option. It makes the Kindle sharp and unwieldy and puts the pen in an odd place for reading.

Use my new kindle scribe a lot including at work. This case works well at protecting it at all times and pen holder ensures pen stays in place

I bought this less than a month back and cannot charge it as it came fully charged when delivered. It seems the C connector is depressed and cannot be reached. This in a brand new GBP 385 value device !! I am currently in Mumbai , India. Can this be fixed here ? Seek your early response as I have around 50 books loaded and power is down to under 20 % in Kindle.

Cover was a bit marked/scuffed despite being sealed. Seems to have rubbed out ok, but expected better quality from such an expensive cover. Attached fine.

Eine gewohnt sehr gute Qualität. Etwas Wildlederartig - aber nur wenig. ( Kratzspuren auf Wildleder, können mit streichen, mit der Hand, beseitigt werden... ) Finde ich sehr schön ! Leder, kann besser gepflegt werden, als Stoff - bleibt auf die Dauer sauber, und heile, anzusehen. Das mag ich auch an diesem Qualitätsprodukt sehr ! Jedoch : vermutlich, sind die anderen Hüllen, für um die 75 Euro, darin, vielleicht noch praktischer ? Ich weiß es nicht! Diese Premium Hülle, hier, kostet rund 110 Euro. Ich freue mich, mich dafür entschieden zu haben! Und : der Karton, in dem die Hülle geliefert wird : ist sehr stabil und enthält genug Platz, für das Gerät, samt Hülle. ( ... schützt, meines Erachtens, am besten bei Stürzen und im alltäglichen Transport... ) Dabei, spart sich der Preis, für eine Tasche! Ich habe, beispielsweise, schon eine "Stilbag" Tasche, aus Filz - welche mittlerweile ca 60 Euro kostet... Dieser stabile Karton ist bestimmt, für viele Menschen, wie auch für mich, eine bessere Lösung ? Die Magnete für die Aufstellung, sind hervorragend : stabil Kraftvoll. Mein Gerät, erscheint erst heute : ich vermute Mal : das hält gut, in der Hülle...?! ( War, für den Kindle Scribe 1. Generation, auch gut ausreichend, in der premium Lederhülle. ) Um den Karton, für den alltäglichen Transport zu nutzen, habe ich einfach, mit einem Messer, den, am Stift, sperrenden Pappe Teil, weggenommen... Vielen Dank für ihre Aufmerksamkeit! Nachtrag : Auf dem Foto, ohne Karton, ist meine Hülle nach Behandlung mit einem farblos Leder-Wachs, abgebildet ... Reinigen musste ich die Hülle auch schon. (Freilich lag dies an meinem, gehäuften, laxen Umgang, mit schmutzigen Händen! ) : Mit Essigwasser und Mikrofasertuch und Küchentuch, sehr sparsam, angewendet ... ( Ist gut gelaufen.) Danach wird wohl besser ein Pflegemittel angewendet ?! Ich habe ein farblos Leder-Wachs und danach eine Bürste benutzt . Es kann sein, dass im Produktionsprozess leichte Irritierungen mitgeliefert werden ...(Leichte Kratzspuren entstehen, welche durch Wischen mit einem Mikrofasertuch, bei mir verschwanden) Allerdings ist es wichtig, das Leder-Wachs, Hauchdünn aufzutragen. Ich habe dafür ein Papier Küchentuch benutzt. Da so ein Leder-Wachs nicht in den Mund gehört, ist sparsames Anwenden und gründliches Händewaschen notwendig... Nach einigen Stunden ist das Wachs in das Leder eingezogen . Übrigens : Leder Pflegemittel gibt es nicht nur im Drogeriemarkt. Auch im Sportgeschäft und im Schuhgeschäft. Ansonsten : hier in der Amazon Shopping-App ist eine große Auswahl an Leder Pflegemittel zum Bestellen im Sortiment. Das schöne an so einer Lederhülle ist, dass ich sie hin und wieder auffrischen kann . Diese Lederhülle macht einen sehr guten Eindruck, finde ich. Und wird auch nach langer Benutzung sehr gut aussehen ( für einem Kindle Scribe 2022, hatte ich zumindest nach einem Jahr ausgiebiger Benutzung, die gleiche Freude, wie nach dem Kauf .
