must have item for people with poor vision
bought for my husband , he is blind. He said that this is the best thing ever for people with poor vision. Life - improving thing. Big benefit is the light option. Brighter light or dimmer for your choice/Original design like a table lamp, but 3x magnifying glass makes huge difference for my husband.He is totally enjoying it.

Great magnification and lighting!
I use this for doing Diamond Art. Both the magnification and the lighting (2 settings) are great. I couldn't do my Diamond Art without it!! Highly recommend!

Misleading Description
At the bottom of the item page it says directions for use and lists how to use and the very first lines say this.. How to use it?12The red light on when charging,3Press the button on the body of the little fan to switch on/ off.Well, this leads you to believe the unit holds a charge so you use the USB to charge the unit and a red light will flash as its charging when in fact there is no red light and this does not actually charge and must remain plugged into a usb port in order to use the lights . It also says to press the button on the body of the little fan to switch on or off.. Umm, what fan? There is no fan. I bought this thinking it would be more portable as the page says the unit charges when in fact it does not. It will work for me this way but is not what I wanted or paid for. The seller might want to redo their description.

Using for Miniature Painting
Use: I bought this to use for painting miniatures for D&D. It was important to me to find a desk lamp that could be USB powered so I could paint at any desk or table without need of a wall outlet nearby. I just plug this light into my portable battery and am set for the session.Power Consumption: My estimate after using this lamp for two painting sessions is that, when used at full brightness setting, will use about 10,000mAh worth of battery power over roughly 8-10 hours. This is only an estimate however I have not done any solid research on the subject, based on my own personal experience plugging it into a fully charged 15,000mAh Portable battery and having more than enough charge to run the lamp for the whole painting session.
