This at home mold test worked great. We have single pane windows in our home and the windows sweat very regularly and we have to wipe down our window seals often because otherwise mold grown quickly. I was curious if after all these years it has affected our walls or other issues, so I bought this test to use to see if we had any serious mold issues in our house, since we have only been in this house for 2 years. This product worked exactly as advertised in amazon.com, and the instructions were very easy to follow. The best part about the product was emailing pictures of your collected mold samples, and receiving an email report of the findings. I received my report in one day – how kewl is that! I would definitely buy the product again, and I recommend it. I have a second box sitting on the counter, waiting to test the area again once we’ve done our deep cleaning. The quality of the product is exceptional. It even includes disposal bags for each of the petri dishes. The manufacturer thought this product all the way through, which doesn’t happen too often — good job.

Easy to use, comes with a booklet to identify the mold you have, but they also offer for you to send them photos of the plates and they will identify and generate a report for you. very easy and very helpful. would recomend.

I liked this product. It was like doing a fun science experiment on my home! It can't accurately tell you the quantity of mold spores in your space, but it can tell you what kinds of mold you have and if there's a ton, or not that much. And this is still valuable information! The kit includes an ID guide for once you've exposed the agar in the petri dishes. I found it hard to identify my mold from the photos they included. Maybe my mold was weird. But the company offers the great service of IDing the mold for you if you email them high quality photos. I did that, and got detailed answers the same day. Nice!

We just discovered that mold might be the root cause of several medical issues in our family. This company identified six different types of mold spores in our home, even though there was no visible mold in any of the rooms (only some on a couple of windows on one end of the house). We could not be more pleased with these results-- we had no idea mold was a problem in our new home, but did notice our health had declined (badly) after moving in.We plan to confirm these results with a mycotoxin test, as well. If I remember I'll update this review as to whether the results of that test correlate with this one.
