Nice big pages Review: I received this journal today, but unfortunately, it won't meet my needs. First, it is very attractive and well-designed. There is an expanding pocket on the inside of the back cover, a rubber band that you see in the picture that you can use to keep it closed, and a thin plastic ruler provided. I sketch as a hobby and decided to try this product. Here is where it falls short for my needs. The paper is thin, comparable to the standard paper used in copy machines. This is great for journaling, but not for my sketching. I have been using sketch books with 68lb paper. Second, there is no perforated line to remove a page. If you tear a page out of the book, you have to deal with small pieces of paper that fall out, and then use scissors and a paper cutter to cut off that side edge of the page. I am sketching personalized Christmas cards and sketches, so the thin paper can't handle the bleed problem with paint/markers. Last, if you want to use it to take notes during a meeting and you like to doodle as the speaker is speaking, this journal is perfect.
