This thing is really nice. It does everything it’s supposed to do.

A good drone for teens who are interested in the hobby. I bought mine for my daughter who expressed interest in the hobby. Sure, not nearly the level of quality as more expensive units, but good for the price.

My first time flying. I read the instructions it was easy and I am having a ball with it!

Can’t fly unless there is zero wind

This holy stone 440G is a really good drone to get started in this hobby. It flies very stable and has two flight modes. The slower one is nice and comfortable, not too fast. The faster mode is nice and quick. The calibration is not a hassle and you can get it in the air fairly quickly, and it handles great indoors. The video is surprisingly stable for an entry level drone, and the pictures are good enough that you'll want to share them with friends and family. The battery has an average flight time. Of course this depends on how you use the drone.... Fast mode, recording, and so on. I think this drone is great for this price. Buy it

Every time we use it, it will go off in random directions and disobey the controller. We have followed the setup process and watched all of the instructional videos and don't send it too far. The last time we flew it (a few minutes ago) we were setting it down when it suddenly shot up, turned on its side, and flew off out of sight into the woods as though summoned by a forest entity. Thankfully, it was recording at the time which gave us a sense of where to look. Also, one of the folding legs seems to not want to stay fully deployed when folded out so that might have contributed to the wild flights away from us each time. One thing I do have to say about this drone is that it is built well enough to survive a full speed crash into a hemlock tree trunk. It seems unharmed although that remains to be seen.

This was a complete waste of time. I was never able to reliably pair the drone with the controller, even though it repeatedly acted like it was connected. After spending over an hour troubleshooting (including with ChatGPT), the controller would beep continuously, but I still had no actual control of the drone. You would think there would be a clear indicator showing whether motor control is enabled or the drone is properly armed, but there isn’t. The instructional video was also essentially useless. It doesn’t clearly explain the steps or what to look for—it’s just someone demonstrating what’s supposed to happen, with text on the screen saying it’s working, without explaining how to get there or what to do when it doesn’t.
