SureFire X300 Ultra High Ouput LED Weaponlights

There's a reason these lights are so popular. I have nothing but good things to say about the light itself. Ordering from Amazon was a little sketchy though. Even though I got mine sold/shipped by Amazon (not a third-party seller) it still came with a damaged switch that looked like it was pried on with pliers that tore up the plastic paddles. The light also appeared to be counterfeit. Wrong type of barcode, wrong logo printing on the side, wrong switch paddles, wrong battery compartment sticker, too dim, machined corners too sharp, etc etc. Thankfully, Amazon replaced the defective item and now the replacement I received is a genuine SureFire. The packaging on the first one was genuine so it must have been a previously returned item. A little disappointed that I had to go through that, but at least Amazon made it right in the end! It's 100% dependable gear that will work when you need it, just make sure you carefully inspect your light when you receive it to make sure it's genuine!

This light is a workhorse and an holds its own. Just a fair warning, if you can't handle or don’t want a super bright light, this isn’t the light for you. If you want all the lumens, this light is for you.

Luckily I received a real X300UA. The label was on the bottom of the package. The battery compartment had the correct surefire engraving. The battery release button was not protruding.Slashers were on the battery door. 100% realThis light Is a tank and am happy to own another one.I used this light in Afghanistan on my M4 and it was "OK" as a rifle light but is definitely more suited for use on a pistol. The light I used overseas took a 7.62 round right through the bezel but didnt hit the bulb so i actually still used it for another few weeks until it just stopped coming on. Like I said built like a tank!

Great product by a great company. Very bright, solid frame, controls work well. Only problem I had was the battery cover plastic hinges broke. Sure fire sent me a replacement very quickly which was amazing. But the plastic hinges are a bit fragile, so be careful replacing. I would highly recommend.

I still have not found a more tried and true light for my G17 than this . Sure the new Cloud or Modlite pistol lights probably are better but they damn sure aren't more tried an true than X300U. The X300U is the Colt M4A1 on pistol lights . No thrills or frills white light that just gets the job done and can count on it in harm's way ..

Have always used TLR-1's but decided to go Gucci and get an X300 for a custom P320 build I'm doing. Out of the box, light appeared sturdy, operation was easy and tactile, very pleased......Until I mounted it. Whatever this "easy on and off" mounting system is needs to be trashed immediately. Weapon mounted like a breeze, and WAS easy on and off....but the fit was so loose the light would wobble and the beam would dance when turned on. Used every mounting insert provided (and believe me, the removal of 6 tiny screws with the microscopic Allen wrench was no bargain), and could not get a tight fit. Given that the packaging had already gone out with last week's garbage, this X300 is going out with this weeks garbage.Could not be more displeased. As I said, illumination and operation were fantastic (the momentary on is much better than the TLR-1 style), however THIS mounting device on THIS X300 is garbage...hence why this was a nearly $300 piece of garbage in my trash bin.

Was running a TLR1 1k for a long while and just swapped over to the X300U and definitely prefer this over the TLR1. Ended up moving over to a X300T instead, since it suited my preferences better
