This allows you to mount the Apple TV behind your actual TV. Putting the Apple TV out of eyesight very nice for an organized TV set up.

I purchased this mount to hide my AppleTV behind my tv, which would allow me to hide my cables as well. Frankly, I’m surprised at how well this mount works, particularly for the price I paid.I elected to use the drywall anchors rather than the 3M adhesive strips, because I didn’t want to leave any chance of the AppleTV falling off the wall or the TV. The mount itself has countersunk channels that allow the screwheads to be recessed and not touch the AppleTV.The silicone corners are flexible enough to easily bend them back and insert the AppleTV, yet firm enough to hold it securely in place.The remote still works even though the AppleTV is hidden behind my tv, no issues at all!This is a minimal design, works well, and is secure. Pleasantly surprised!This also includes a silicone cover for the AppleTV remote. Similar covers sell for $5-$10 on Amazon, so this adds value. The cover fits well, although it can interfere with the touchpad on the remote, such as the quick-scroll feature on the right edge of the remote. Regardless, I will still use the cover.

I purchased this to mount my Apple TV 4K on the back of my new TV. I cleaned the area on the TV with alcohol and let dry. I applied the mount to the tv by removing the 3M adhesive protector on the back. Stuck to the tv, pressed and gave it some pressure to ensure it stuck. LetIt sit for a day before applying Apple TV. Next day placed Apple TV on the mount. For perfectly and looks great! Following night I come back to the tv to stream Joker Folie A Deux (terrible movie) and my Apple TV wouldn’t come on. I was thinking I’m not doing something right because it’s a new tv. After about 5 minutes of setting checking and input checking I go to check the Apple TV on the back and it’s gone. I look done and it is laying on the floor inside of the mount. This mom t is not strong enough to hold your Apple TV. Beware.
