Yes, they are puncture proof!
Bought these to replace my punctured Rib Wheel. Worked great, no more puncture worries and as they are stiffer the boat is more stable with the outboard on when moving or launching.

It ok and won't need pumping up, but not as described, with a much narrower tread.
Used to have a solid tyre jockey wheel on my trailer, but that would dig into the gravel drive and make it hard to move. So replaced it with a pneumatic one, which was a lot better, with an 80mm wide tread, but had to keep pumping it up and it was difficult to get the compressor connected to the valve. The wheel needed replacing, so decided to get this one, but regrettably the tread is only 65mm wide, not the 85mm claimed, so not as good as a proper pneumatic tyre and is more prone to digging into a gravel drive, although not as bad as a solid tyre. Also the width of the hub is less than stated, so had to get some M20 washers to pack it out to the full width, which cost another £2.That said the wheel is well made and has needle rollers in the 20mm hub, which should give less friction and have a longer life than cheaper wheels with a plain plastic hub. So if the tread width is not of concern then this is a good quality wheel, which will not go flat on you.It will ok through the winter, when I am not using the trailer so much, but will revert to a pneumatic tyre when using the trailer more often, in the better weather. Will then be using a Maypole 4375C pneumatic Jockey Wheel, with 80mm wide tread, complete with telescopic upright tube, so it can be quickly interchanged when necessary. The picture shows the Coldene wheel on the left and the Maypole wheel on the right.Bit disappointed, as I bought this wheel directly from Coldene Castors, who have previously been very good in providing goods to the correct description.

Dimensions Incorrect
Wheels are fine but description is not accurate except for bore and tyre diameter. Tread width given as 85mm is actually 65mm and bore length given as 70mm is actually 76/77mm. Descriptions giving dimensions necessarily have to be accurate.
