It works…..
This actually works. I had another cradle and bag mount from another well known company , which didn’t support the cameras weight and it kept falling forward and filming my belly and legs. 🤨 This one holds the camera steady and it won’t fall out. It works using the same fixings as the Go-pro, and it doesn’t fall forward anymore. SUREWO have produced a good bit of kit that I will defo recommend. 👍👍👍

Excellent camera Fantastic clear video / Pics
Very useful and does an excellent job. Attached to Protective vest or coat excellent videos, and as a Vlog camera. Discreet and can be carried in the pocket for immediate use. Most recommended.

Decent product
Fits well on my backpack. I have one of those big traveller backpacks. The only thing I’d say is that it’s not always accurate when recording but that’s only because of the angle of the backpack strap so you will have to turn slightly.

Too many restrictions introduced.
First the good. The holder grips the Osmo Pocket 3 well. Some angle adjustment is necessary to get the best shots dependant upon where you fit it to the strap of your backpack and overall the complete assembly seems quite well made and leaves you hands free. However, there are several drawbacks which made me almost return the item but as there was nothing else on the market, it was either this one or nothing. Firstly, the Velcro strap is designed for quite wide backpack straps. Mine is 70mm wide but I still had to fit some packing on the back of the strap to stop the assembly sliding down. Secondly, I prefer to have my Osmo Pocket 3 on my right hand strap so that I can slacken and tighten the lock screw with my left hand (I am ambidextrous so that helps), it also means that the holder part slides down into the locked position and I can’t fall out should a problem occur. Thirdly, getting the Osmo Pocket 3 in and out with the holder assembled is impossible, even slackening the tightening screw off completely. The only way to remove the Osmo is to take the locking bolt out, remove the holder from the frame, spread the holder slightly and remove the Osmo. In fact the same way as the instructions show you to assemble it. With the assembly on the right strap (as I have it) you can squeeze the trident clip together and lift the holder from its clip by sliding it up. I assume you can do the same only in the opposite direction should you choose to wear your Osmo on the left hand strap of your backpack. This all means if you then want to use your Osmo handheld, you still have the Osmo attached to its cradle - not so comfortable but manageable. Fourthly and finally, with the Osmo Pocket 3 fitted into the cradle you cannot clip the battery pack onto the camera. The bottom of the cradle prevents this. So if your camera charge is getting low it’s a case of either removing the Osmo altogether and fitting the battery extension to charge the camera or use a USB C lead to your chosen power source. Overall, it does the job it was meant to do but has introduced quite a lot of restrictions and as such, in my opinion, is not worthy of more than two stars and as I said earlier, if an alternative was available it would have been returned.

As expected
No issues with this holder slipping down as others have experienced, I guess it depends on the design of your backpack. It seems solidly built and does the job. It holds the camera steady and securely, but is still easy to attach/detach. You will have to accept that the camera screen faces away from you, and this seems to be a common design. So you have to set the screen off and trust that footage is being captured correctly and that button presses will be the correct ones. Otherwise relatively good value.

Impractical, Rubbish
I only have negative things to say: 1. It is locked in a straight position, so you cannot adjust where you want the camera to face. 2. To remove it, you have to completely unscrew the holding piece, it’s not a clip on clip off situation, making it awful if you’re looking to use this for any action/ on the go content 3. Its locked position has the interface FACING AWAY from you, and you cannot switch that orientation. You need a long neck if you want to reach over to use your controls. This is probably the most ridiculous thing about it 4. Poor adjustment on bag straps, like I mentioned, it’s pretty much locked in a straight, but when wearing it on the bag, it makes the camera lean outward, it’s a Velcro attachment, so you can’t really twist or adjust it without it going back to an awkward resting position 5. The material is cheap. Especially the holding piece So overall, if you want footage of what’s directly to your left (or right), this is great for you. I recommend finding something else on the market that has an adjustable hold, and can easily be clipped on and off.
