Tomie: Complete Deluxe Edition

The artwork is beautiful and the story interesting. The book itself however had an odd smell, I'm guessing it was kept in a humid place so trying to get rid of that. It also had some ink stains/ transfer on some of the pages. The glue is kindda weak and the pages easily come loose. I have Uzumaki from the same collection and none of these issues are there. Tomie, which is more expensive, is ironically cheaper quality wise.

I was really excited to get this manga. Unfortunately the book came in poor condition and I don't know what to do know. Maybe it was damaged before it was even send because I doubt that huge hole in the cover was made during delievery. Nevertheless the package itself was not really secure so maybe some damage comes from the delivery.

This hard cover edition is gorgeus, the printing looks very clean and is definitely a must have for any Junji Ito fan (or horror fan). I love this particular story of Tomie, one of the best from its author.

I bought this deluxe hardcover edition of Gyo by Junji Ito as a gift for my husband, and he absolutely loved it! The special edition is beautifully made, and the story is just as creepy and captivating as you'd expect from the author. Highly recommended for fans of horror manga or anyone who enjoys unique and unsettling storytelling.
