CARCHET Wireless Winch Remote, 12 V Wireless Winch Remote Control Kit with Indicator Light for Truck Jeep ATV Winch

So this one is actually a replacement for one that wasn’t working properly. I believe it was my fault when I accidentally shorted the positive and negative 12v connections on my UTV. I could tell the old one wasn’t working as well and would randomly take in or spool out just a little bit of winch cable. So I replaced it and so far has been working flawlessly. It’s very easy to wire. For example, positive and negative to my blueseas distribution block, yellow wire and white wire control your winch in and out. I simply tested this ahead of time using alligator clips to make sure I didn’t wire it backwards. Then I simply spliced the wiring into my main hardwired switch that is connected to my winch solenoid. I attached a picture of the inside (I took apart the non-working one), just in case anyone was curious what the inside looked like.

I bought 2 of these. One for a Smittybilt winch, and one for a Warn winch. Works perfectly on both. On a Warn 5 pin you need to jump the ground (brown to black) to make it work. The control module fit in the control box on both of the winches

Ordered one, hooked up, clicks but won't operate solenoid.Got a replacement, hooked up ran for 2 sec and now just clicks.I wish I was doing something wrong because I want it to work, but I have tested everything on a winch that works perfectly.All I can say is good luck getting a working one.

I installed this on a wired Northern Tool wench. Everything about it works great, simple install if you have some type of knowledge of basic electrical systems. The instructions were sufficient enough to get the job done. My wired remote is still operational also.

Works great and easy to install

Easy to install, not sure that I actually need two different sized remotes in addition to the integrated thumb switch but nice to have options. I cut the wires to length for a cleaner install

Does not work. My dump trailer is a power up and down unit. All I would get is a click sound. The ring terminals are to small so I had to cut them off so now I can't return it. At least It wss really cheap so not a big deal. Spend the extra $ to get the good one.
