Purchased these as a quick and effective way to have vol-a-vonts at the party without all the fuss of having to make them myself.....And I am so glad I did! They went down a treat and as much as I would have loved to have taken the credit of saying I made them myself; I didnt and sent a link to a few friends so they could purchase for their own upcoming parties.On delivery some can unattached from the bases but they are easily stuck back together.Thoroughly enjoyed them and will purchase again.

These casings are good, although perhaps a bit too thick in terms of pastry, meaning that one must be quite generous with the filling so as not to a balanced snack. This said the product was a resounding success at for the party they were bought for. Quite expensive but very well packaged there wasn't a single broken casing in the entire set.

We filled our Vol-au-Vents with chopped up chicken, and mushrooms in a white sauce all heated in a pre-warmed oven. Our dinner party guests all gave it thumbs up and wanted to know where to buy the VauVs. We passed on this information to all those who had asked us to do so.

Half of the product is broken. It says it cannot be returned. I have no choice but used whats left of it. The vol au vents itself is nice and good value for money but the ways its delivered and cannot be returned when it arrived half is broken is not fair.

I bought these for my husband's funeral wake. Everybody was amazed at the size to begin with. Then, when biting into them how well baked they were and did not crumble at first bite. They are also very tasty!! they can even be cut in half as they are a generous size, so you have double the amount of purchase.

Ordered them for a Jubilee street party to do coronation chicken vol au vents. Everyone said how lovely they were

These are far too big, vol a vents are suppose to be a mouthful.Costs a lot to fill these.

Arrived on time - I didn’t open them immediately as they were not needed for a couple of weeks. Despite the solid packaging there was around 25% broken (separated from the base) so as long as you factor this in you will be ok. The flavour is neutral, so you need to make sure your fillings ‘pop’ - overall they did the job. Cooked up well with just 10 minutes in the oven to brown and crisp up.
