SUPER USEFUL, easy to use and price is right!
I had another borescope / endoscope that I bought a few years ago. The problem with the old one was that I had to charge it and keep it charged in order to use it. And the battery would die very quickly. This new device of mine takes its power from your cellphone's USB. Thus, it's good to go ALL THE TIME and has been super reliable to date. I primarily bought this device as a tool in order for me to see areas that are hard to see in my car. I used it to look at the cylinder walls and to check the valves for carbon build up. WOW, I love this thing! My old one only had one camera at the tip. I thought that was ok until I used this new one that has a camera at the tip AND along the sides as well. So if I'm looking inside a cylinder, the tip camera can see the top of the cylinder and the side camera can look at the cylinder wall! If you're a mechanic, you know how useful this would be. The picture is sharp enough and the built-in light dimmer is super handy. The tip attachments are very useful as well. One of them is a magnet catcher. So in the event that I drop a screw where I'm not supposed to, this would help tremendously to retrieve it!So what else do I use it for? Since the cable is pretty long, we have also used it to access dryer vents and all the other house AC vents. We wanted to see what kind of dust build-up there was. You don't want to know. Also, this is very handy to see what's behind kitchen appliances. The cable is stiff enough so that you can bend it to the angle that you want and snake it through very small areas. These devices were hundreds of dollars before and now the price point makes the technology available to everyone. The other feature that I like as well is the ability to "flip" the image. When you insert the camera into a hole, obviously it will show you a certain direction. With my old one, I would have to flip my phone to better visualize what I'm looking at. In this case, I just press a button to flip the image 180 degrees. Again, very useful.

Great idea!
This is a cool little camera. Definitely a must-have for any mechanic, plumber, or tradesman. I'm a mechanic and my last snake camera had a short reach, it took up a bunch of space, you always had to charge it or plug it in, and the screen was grainy & eventually broke. You won't have any of those problems with this endoscope camera. It has a long reach, it takes up very little space, and your phone runs everything. The picture is clear on both camera views and the LED lights are bright enough to illuminate the entire view from either camera angle. The attachments are a big plus as well. The magnet is strong and the hook is tiny enough to grab anything. The endoscope wire also holds its shape very well. The app is free, very easy to use, and it has a bunch of features. You can take pictures and videos, switch between color and black-and-white views, you can rotate the camera in 90-degree intervals to get a good look at any angle, there is a zoom feature that offers 3 zoom distances, and there is an album section that lets you see every picture or video you take on the camera. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and overall I would recommend this product to anyone. It's a cool toy and an even cooler tool! Guys at work were instantly jealous!

Not bad at all, for the price
Just like some others have reported, the Apple Lightning adapter seems to need be juggled around a bit. Sometimes works fine, other times says it’s not connected, but plugging in and out seems to fix. But basic camera and app seem to function ok. Kind of amazing for the price.

Good video quality, long scope length, easy to set up
I got this endoscope a couple months ago to see what my dog was digging under my shed for. I was concerned there was something living underneath it, and this was perfect for threading underneath to verify. The endoscope was very easy to set up with my phone, and has both USB-C and Lightning plugs attached. It also has a handy button to take pictures with, and a dial to control the light's brightness. The app is simple but effective. It also comes with a 90º lens attachment, which is helpful. My only suggestion would be to allow it to save to Photos on iOS without having to grant access to my whole photo library. This is a big no-no for privacy. You can get around this by blocking Photos access, and instead saving the video to Files. The video quality is good though, and this will come in handy for checking out my hot water heater, as well as regular electric/networking projects. I wish the light threw a bit further, but I understand that this is probably hard to do with USB-C power and such a small form factor. Plus, these will typically be used in tight quarters, so I understand I shouldn't be expecting to see a few feet in front of it.

Nice, easy to use for close up pics
The unit impressed me out of the box being very easy to use. Plugged it in to my Samsung phone and installed an app and it was ready to go in about two minutes. As an Endoscope I think it is effective. I was hoping to use it to inspect the inside of an engine case, but the focus is very small or close to the tip. I needed a wider view. Pictures are reasonably crisp and recording mode is a plus. A built-in light works flawlessly with dimmer. The cable is malleable to bend yet stiff enough to steer it around bit. Getting "right-side-up" images is quite hard but manageable and I think on-par for this type of device. I think using it to look inside a "pipe" or similar to find or inspect a blockage or leak would be its strength, such as would be expected for an Endoscope. You can see detail once close to an object while three feet into the "pipe". Check out your teeth if you want but do that BEFORE the "other end" :) Dropping this probe into a wall cavity to explore a larger area is not so much useful IMO in that the view, although quite clear, is limited in range to a couple inches depth of field. I would recommend this unit for price, ease of use, decent quality for "Endoscope" type work.
