Size is not accurately depicted
Purchased the senior large sized helmet and it won't even fit onto the top of my sons head let alone slide down over his skull. Very disappointed since we waited so long to even get it so he could go ice skating. Now we are back to square one.

It Looks Like a Hockey Helmet
I bought this for a Halloween costume, so I don’t know if it will protect your melon in a hockey game. I can only tell you it looked like a hockey helmet.
