Have you ever gotten something that you loved so much you were excited to write the review?That’s how I feel about these shampoo and conditioner bars. And I have to tell you my story.I’ve been “shampoo homeless” for months now. I am hyper vigilant about the products I use, especially for my hair.In my 20s I spent way too much money dedicated to only using “product” because I wanted long healthy hair. It NEVER grew past my shoulders. I didn’t blame the product, I blamed my genetics.Fast forward to my 40s my hair was dry, brittle, frizzy, and refused to grow.I magically encountered an all natural shampoo and conditioner (Crisan). Within a short time my hair grew soooo long I couldn’t keep up with it! I never had such long hair! But sadly, the quality of the product over the years of buying it declined and the health of my hair along with it. The product went from being thick and smelling amazing to watery and smelling like chemicals and leaving my hair in worse and worse condition.I resolved myself to find a replacement and have purchased a few natural shampoo conditioner sets - only to be disappointed.Finally after doing tons of research I decided to give these a try. I got the sandalwood fragrance.It is a bit weird to rub a bar on your head and hair when you’re not used to it, but I was surprised at how well it lathered and such a soft foamy lather too. It takes a bit more time I think but probably will go faster as I get used to them more.I actually felt like it was able to work into my long hair easier than liquid shampoo - which I didn’t expect.The conditioner bar was really nice too! And it rinsed out well leaving my hair smooth and silky.But my real delight was after my hair dried!It was soft! Not frizzy and dry at all! It just “feels” happy and it looks better than it has in a very long time.I’ve only used them once and I’m in love. I feel like my hair is actually clean and nurtured.As for the scent, it’s very subtle but incredibly pleasing to my preference. Just a bonus.Highly recommend!

I wanna start with. I had really high expectations. I have super curly Auburn color hair so it’s prone to being dry and I heard nothing but good things about this bar, shampoo and conditioner product. I have not noticed a difference in feeling or appearance. It is a awkward application process meaning you really have to scrub the bar on your head to get any kind of good lather for me. That’s a little sketchy because rubbing something back-and-forth just naturally will tangle my hair. Because you basically put your hair in one palm. The bar in the other and scrub back-and-forth now with that said the only other disappointment I have is the conditioner bar is very soft not only is it soft. It is quite a bit smaller than the shampoo. It does detangler my hair nicely, but I feel like you have to use a lot I will definitely use this product for Camping because I do like it it’s just not for every day use

I bought this set for my outdoor shower. I didn't want to leave bottles outside and I thought these little bars just looked better. First thing I noticed was that the shampoo lathered so much nicer than other bars I've tried. But what really surprised me was how my hair felt. Shampoo (even the hydrating kind) dries out my hair and it's nearly impossible to comb through it. When it's dry, it gets frizzy and tangly. This is truly the only shampoo that doesn't strip out the natural moisture in my hair, and it's been a total game changer. My hair is smooth and silky. I can easily comb through it, wet or dry. This is the only product I'll use from now on. The fact that it reduces waste is an added bonus!

I have been using these shampoo and conditioner bars for a little over a month now. Been on a journey to find a good shampoo and conditioner for a very long time. I've gone through a lot of traditional liquid/gel high-end brands and have tried to stick to more natural ingredient lists. The last one I tried I noticed I was getting a lot of back acne face and acne along my jawline, which sent me on another search. I came across the suggestion for shampoo and conditioner bars, which I had never heard of before. After looking into a few different brands I settled on purchasing the combo Earthling Co pack, but really didn't have high hopes.No matter what I have used, my very very fine hair is quite lifeless. I also put it up a lot so it's quite damaged and has a lot of frizz.After one week of using this shampoo conditioner combo I noticed a difference. My hair was a bit less frizzy and had more bouncy volume. Now, after a month, I can see significant improvement in my damaged strands and it's only slightly frizzy. I can see a visible difference in how it shines and much more volume it has-- it is important to note that I'm also very lazy with my hair so pretty much all I do is blow dry it and sometimes I just let it air dry. So, I'm not putting any other product or effort into making it look better outside of this new shampoo conditioner. I'm impressed!With that being said I didn't give it a full five stars because I only got about a month of use out of the bars. Maybe it's because I use too much at a time? I'm not sure, but I got significantly less out of it compared to the claim. Honestly, it isn't a big deal to me and I think the price point is fine as a monthly expense, but it's something worth noting. Also, I really like the conditioner but it does make my tub incredibly slippy after I rinse it out that I have to be so careful when getting out. Again, not a deal breaker but something to note and possibly be aware of if you don't have a nonslip mat.If you are thinking of switching from a traditional shampoo brand or just want to try something more natural - give this a whirl. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
