I purchased this product because its lighter weight (I live in a third floor apartment). My previous experiance was with rented ebikes. Imagine my surprise when I had to download an app to my phone and give it all sorts of prmissions to access my personal data just to set it up. And the bike only works when the black box that controls everything has the right fingerprint for a single user. I can't return it. And feel like I wated $1400. Don't buy.

I purchased the Urtopia Carbon 1S a year ago and I love it. The only bad point is that the rear derailleur must be detached to remove the rear tire. I wonder if the new Carbon 1 Pro has addressed this problem. It makes fixing a rear flat quite a challenge.

I’ve had a Urtopia Carbon Pro for a few months. It a great light weight ebike with advanced electronics & styling.I’m 73 years old & live in Colorado. With the 8 regular gears & the motor I can get up any mountain road here. With few exceptions I’m significantly faster up hills that much younger cyclists on regular bikes. Well built with no problems with the bike so far. Quick charging & long battery life with the removable battery. I say “Further, faster & higher” I highly recommend this bike
