The Hygger support team is working with me to fix this issue. They have been prompt to respond and are sending me new legs for this light. They believe they arrived bent. Hopefully this will resolve my issue and I will add a star back on my review after they arrive. Light arrived in a timely manner. I am pleased with the brightness and the different colors. It is easy to program. My only issue is the legs it rest on move easily and cause it to slide off the edge it balances on. Not to the point that it might fall in the aquarium but, enough that it is aggravating. This has been resolved by customer support at Hygger. They were very easy to work with and sent new legs that were not bent. Works great now. I have zero complaints.

Great light, love it. It’s bright and makes plant growing easy, works great. Fits the top of my tank good. My 20 gallon long is thriving.

Nice light with the option to customize times and colors. However, this thing is a NIGHTMARE to program. Even with seemingly good instructions, the control module ignores my inputs.

It really pains me to say this but this light is just as bright and has just as good of a color spectrum as my $400 Fluval. I'm not sure has German is going to compete with China on this one. I don't have the money to burn.

Don't buy this one. I read the bad reviews and bought anyways. Programing it is horrible, but I got past it than the controller went blank leaving me to have to cut it out and bypass the controller.

The "white" light is quite pink. The controller is too close to the light and has no way to attach it other than zip ties. Even if you zip tie it it is plainly visible through the tank and ruins the aesthetics. The cord is out the end even though it comes with a clip on stand for the side so the cord is kinda unsightly. The clip on stand is quite loose on the light, so it can be bumped off center easily. The listing states it includes a battery. That is a lie. The light is angled upward slightly, so it's easy to be blinded by. This is about half way to a good product. For the price it kinda sucks. For $20-$30 it would be understandable.

excellent light for my planted aquarium. I have two of these on my 87Gal tank that is 49x23x18 and i was getting a PPFD reading of 52-55 at the substrate, underwater. these are fairly easy to program once you've walked through the steps once or twice. i Also liked the ability to tune each of the modes color profile. I'm using these in the manual DIY mode you get 4 timeslots (L1-L4) plus the "off" time (L5). I have mine doing an extended dawn (8:30-10:00), a lower light morning (10:00-14:00), full sun afternoon (14:00-19:00) and an extended Dusk (19:00-20:30) before shutting off for the night. the photo I attached was taken during the "full sun" time, settings at: W-100 R-95 G-100 B-100

The light itself is great but the controller is garbage. Its internal clock is off by an hour every 2 weeks and needs to be reset. Despite a battery pack, it is unable to save programmed settings when unplugged. It must be completely reprogrammed every time it loses power.
