These so the job well and are well made, a lovely fine mesh which is also sturdy, One can grow a small amount in them, so don't expect a huge bowl of sprouts. Perfect for tiny seeds like sprouting broccoli. Easy to clean, just take apart, wash in sudsy water to remove any plant materials and rinse - good to go again. Value for money in the sense that as a counter top item, they are plesant to see.

A lovely little bottle for dressings. I love the fact that you do not need to whisk ingredients due to the built in coil. A quick shake and ingredients are blended nicely whenever you need them, then pour. It looks lovely and works perfectly. Then I store it in the fridge.

Good size glass jar and the screw lid that comes with it is fine. The other parts are rubbish.There's a spiral which works for mixing the contents as you shake, but that spiral winds up inside the rubber pouring piece which you have to push down onto the rim of the jar.The metal spiral makes pushing the rubber pouring seal very difficult to get on properly, and the other push-on cap is useless. As you shake the contents, the push cap leaks pretty badly.Would not recommend.

It is larger than I expected but good quality and a screw on lid as well as a spout for pouring

I was provided a refund for this item due to being either defective or just not fit for purpose. Don't buy it, it's very flimsy. The screw I had did not fit the jar, it was too wide. I watched their promo video and it always showed the screw element inside the jar, mine didn't fit half way through making it impossible to close the jar properly.There were zero instructions on how to insert the screw back in once taken out. (Which you would need to do to clean it). It's just not easy to use which defeats the purpose when making anything homemade, it needs to be enjoyable. I ended up buying something else which is not as high quality in terms of the product itself but it does work.It's a shame as I own a lot of Kilner products, but I'd recommend they go back to the drawing board with this one. While it is likely the screw was damaged before hand, it shouldn't be able to be damaged so easily or at least be fixable which it wasn't.Also, it's not hard to provide instructions on how to reinsert the screw element, whilst I am confident I was doing it correctly, the whole thing was so flimsy and it doesn't say how much of the screw to turn into the silicone element.Disappointing but it won't stop me from buying other Kilner products.

Kilner quality. Expensive but worth it. I have tried other sprouters but they don't last well. This one looks good on my windowsill as well.

I wonder if I am doing it wrong......this jar is really not easy to use with chivesI love the jar (first one arrived smashed, but second one was okay), I bought it specifically for storing chives, but the design of the pole means the chives just fall through....The video on the listing shows the jar being used with chives.........however, when I tried to place my chives, they just all fell through the holes, ending up in a buckled, curled up heap in the water below........I'm keeping it to use it for other larger herbs, but I'm disappointed it didn't work as easy as shown for chives - which is the herb I use mostlyI like the design, and quality, a good thick glass, which goes in the dishwasher for super easy cleaningCost was good valueI just wish it would function well with chives ..........I will keep trying though!
