are there I know about that I use it for my router I have too many Ethernet cables and this way I can split off use 2 for one that's what I bought it for.if you have a internet cable on your TV I don't see why not

It will connect the two but there is a drawback of slower speeds on your PC. Other than that, is great when your modem does not have enough ports. Works for me

It works fine to split Ethernet cable from modem to multiple computers, but regarding copier/ scanner use, I'm not sure, I never tried that. Eddie
