great product, one set did not work when i turned switch on after hours of panel in sun, but seller kind enough to replace the one that did not work. the switch itself is a little sensitive if you push too hard it turns off the lights i noticed. even towards the on switch. i like that you do not need to plug it in. found that the colored one even though i have the panel in the sunlight all day does not last that long turned on - the white ones last longer for some reason. They need to improve the switch. great for lil backyard get togethers, weather friendly.

I keep buying them, not becaueThe others go bad, I just love the way they look! The first set has been outside continuously in Southern California for almost two years and they still shine as bright as day one. In the winter of course, they got less sun so the light did not last as long, but now that we are getting back to loooong days, they glow right into the small hours of the morning. Don't expect a bright light, just a lovely ambiance. Great product. I would prefer a smooth surface, but I can't complain about the texture. They are high enough that I don't even notice it.

Will have to return both strings I purchased! Very disappointed that after several days of 'charging' they still will not work!
