Updated review: Feb 2026 I just ordered this again and received it in early Feb 2026. The jar has a best by (BB) date of Apr 2026! The ghee looks almost white in color unlike the usual vibrant golden yellow, and smells old. Ghee, when properly stored, lasts for years. I don't even want to think how old this stock is! A jar of ghee I received from them in November 2025 also had the same Apr 2026 BB date and the same issues, but I ignored it as a one time problem in a good product. In hindsight, I shouldn't have! Why choose to sell deteriorating food items to customers, I wonder? I'm very disappointed and I now need to explore other brands. Well, it was good while it lasted. Original review - I've bought this Aryaa ghee twice now. It appears to be a quality product - good smell and taste. It is light and does not sit in the stomach like a weight. My second order got delayed at customs (according to Amazon) for some reason. There were bubbles at the top when I opened that jar, but thankfully, it did not impact the quality. Organic A2 bilona cow ghee is always expensive compared to standard ghee, and this is no different. I will continue to buy it so long as the seller maintains the quality.

Quality ghee with fresh butter smell . Wish to find lower prices but quality deserves sacrifice ! Will buy again later .

Ghee adds a special bit of flavor to curries and other Indian dishes that you just can't get without it. It is deliciously nutty and creamy and somehow managed to taste like extra buttery butter. I take exception to the claim that it is lactose free, however. Ghee is low lactose, but it is not entirely lactose (or casein) free. This is delicious, and you get quite a bit, which is a good thing at this price.

This ghee has great flavor, and I don’t get near as bloated or lethargic after my meals 👑🙌🏻
