Replacement Glass Carafe for Moccamaster KB Coffee Maker Brewers Technivorm (59835, 1.25L)

The metal ring for the handle on my original Moccamaster carafe was starting to loosen after a few years, allowing the pour spout of the glass to rotate out of alignment with the handle. After seeing the price of the OEM replacement, I figured I’d give this one a try instead. Lower price AND better quality, in my opinion. The glass is thicker, the handle feels sturdier, the fit/function is identical. Would definitely recommend.

I am really impressed with this carafe compared to the original replacement carafe for my Technivorm MoccaMaster, for one, the glass is thicker and the handle is much nicer and stronger, The original replacement carafe is $50. Thus one was $27.95. I have replaced these several times because they are so thin they crack if you look at them wrong. For a company who makes such a fantastic coffee machine obe would think they’d make better replacement parts. All of the parts to this machine are made of plastic that cracks easily, in any event, I am so pleased with this replacement. Much better quality

This is the "second generation" of replacement carafes for our faithful and excellent Bonavita maker. When the original carafe broke (very thin glass) I replaced it with a Cuisinart carafe. Went along fine for several years until I broke that one. No longer being sold so I searched around and found this one. Fits perfectly. I just removed the lid with that filter cone thingy, and my existing paper filter basket fits nicely on top of the carafe. The glass feels thick enough to last a while under normal use. I'm going to order another one as a backup in case they stop making these! :-)

After breaking two moccamaster carafes due to the thin glass and cheap handle. I found this replacement and it works perfectly. The glass on this one is at least twice as thick as the original and the handle is very sturdy with a solid feel. Unlike on the original carafe where the handle always left you wondering if it was going to fail during mid pour.

Flimsy garbage. Breaks the first time you even tip it over—at counter level. Bought it to replace the first one that broke, and need another one already… I’m not THAT clumsy, this is just made out of paper-thin glass.

I like that the carafe is made of much thicker glass than the name brand so I’m thinking it won’t break so easily. It’s also less expensive than the one that comes with the coffee maker.

I am very pleased with this replacement carafe! It feels sturdier than the original that came with my Moccamaster Coffee maker. This carafe has a better handle, which feels more comfortable in the hand, and sturdy enough to support the weight of a full pot of coffee, and I can't say that for the original. The glass in this replacement seems thicker, like it will hold up to use. Had I known it was superior, I would've purchased it before my original carafe developed a crack.

this carafe is more sturdy than the one it is replacing. all the "guts" of the original carafe work with this one (it comes with "guts" but i just wanted to see of the old one would fit so i'd have a spare). saved me having to buy a new coffemaker
