A great homage to my grail watch
I absolutely love this watch and it’s one of my favorites in collection. The rose gold Aquanaut this an homage for is my grail watch and if I had a spare $70k - $100k, I’d buy the Aquanaut original. This Specht and Sohne scratches my itch though. The plated rose gold case looks rosey and the brown of the dial and strap are rich and chocolaty. The case is thinish and comfortable to wear. I smile every time I look at this watch.

AquaWhatNaut:
Specht & Sohne make a much better one-hundred-dollar rendition of the Aquanaut than the other brand I also auditioned. Even though they list its size at 42mm, the distance across the face not counting the crown measures 40mm, much like the PP 5167A it’s modeled after. If you have never adjusted a watch with a screw down crown, start by watching a video online so you can set the time and then screw the crown back in place. This is modeled after the real Aquanaut but I would not count on underwater capability with any knock-off. Workmanship and wearability is quite good. You will also want to watch a video on how to cut the strap to size. Specht & Sohne should include a users guide but the watch is otherwise enjoyable for budget automatic.

Es muy bonito puesto
El reloj tiene una buena imagen, sirve para dejarlo de uso diario, por otro lado se complica ajustarlo al tamaño de la muñeca, debería incluir un paso a paso para hacerlo de forma correcta

Watch stops even if you dont wear it for half a day, wrist band falls off regularly. It’s an absolute pice of crap.

Great Homage Watch That Deserves Time On The Wrist!
Like most people looking at this particular watch, I am a collector and appreciator of time pieces in general. Of course the Aquanaut is on my grail list and unless I have a lottery win soon, most likely I won't be spending the $50k to buy one any time soon. I am not a wearer of Replica watches, so my research led me to this homage watch. Something in my mind convinced me that I would be happy wearing this with the Specht and Sohne name on it rather than impersonating another maker that I am sure we are all familiar with. After having watched several Youtube videos, I decided to give this piece a try and see if I could be satisfied wearing the Specht and Sohne. Much to my surprise when I unboxed this watch was a very high quality and nicely finished time piece. Packing is fine, nothing fancy. I was pleased to see that the watch came with a bar tool, extra strap, extra spring bars, and a microfiber polishing cloth. It is amazing that they can offer all this plus the watch at such an amazing price point.Overall, my first impressions are VERY impressed. I read some of the negative reviews about the strap etc. I had no trouble sizing and reinstalling the rubber strap like some had. My thoughts are that if you are familiar with watch sizing and the proper tools, then you would have no problem getting a nice fit here. It took me one try to carefully cut and reattach the rubber strap. I love both the clasp and the strap, especially the fitment. My clasp is firm when closing and easy to open with the side buttons. The two halves line up perfectly and the polish and engraving are excellent. The rubber strap is quite comfortable, although it is a little sticky and maybe not as plasticy/rubbery as I would like, but certainly not cheap or bad looking. I like how the band has two lugs that hold it in position at the case creating a perfect fit. The case and face are finished very nicely. There are no rough edges and the polishing and brushing of the stainless are done at a very high level. As far as the movement, we know that this is a lower end automatic, however, mine is quite accurate and did not stop once after leaving on the dresser overnight. It is important to do a proper wind the first time you start wearing the watch IMO. I have had no problems with accuracy so far, we will see how it performs in time. Having a screw down crown, hacking movement, and quick set date in this beautiful case is amazing at this price point. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this watch. I went into this purchase not expecting the quality of a $50k watch, but hoping for the best. Specht and Sohne has exceeded my expectations and I am hoping that this will last for years to come. Certainly give it a try if you find yourself wondering what that megabucks Aquanaut is all about, but your budget is limited.

Beautiful Watch, But...
This watch is beautiful and keeps great time. Sizing the band was a lot of work, and I have a good bit of experience. It's not a watch you can just take out of the box and put on your wrist. You'll need tools and patience.

Very Pleased
Excellent watch for the price. Came with extra strap and changing tool. Don’t expect high end movement, but it is very servicable, if a little coarse to wind. Very pleased.

Beautiful watch and good workmanship for a small bucks
Nice and good time piece for the money. I‘m satisfied with the workmanship including the Prominent Japanese Movement inside. Keep it up. The Nautilus watches is always difficult to obtain and so expensive to purchase, also not safe to wear it outside. With this watch we can enjoy the model/design and can keep it stay in our wrist for daily usage without worry so much being snapped by criminals outside there.
