Avoid some of the pitfalls of nonscientific saltwater tanks
Saltwater aquarium set up is full of hoodoo vudoo. Some people may want to set up their aquarium over many weeks or months. I've heard it all toss a dead shrimp in the tank and wait for the magic to happen. Hum. That's not my idea of science. I hold a science degree with extensive work in biology and microbiology. My tank was set up with RODI water Carib live sand and rocks as well as dr Tim's nitrogen fixing bacteria. Water salinity and ph all within the appropriate ranges. Temperature was 78. degrees. I tested all aquarium parameters with the master test kit. I added 2 clowns a carpet anemone and some hermit crabs. After acclimation to tank temp and salinity these animals have done extremely well. The clowns and anemone have become acclimated all fish are eating and doing well and all critical tank tests show no dangerous levels of ammonia, nitrite or nitrate. Dr Tim has the correct nitrogen fixing microorganisms specifically for aquariums so does the sand and rock. I do have years of aquarium experience but this is my first saltwater tank. Dr Tim has experience setting up huge commercial aquariums and has a PHD in microbiology. You are free to choose hoodoo vudoo or science. I'll take science every time.

So far so good.
Used this product, so far so good a week in. Update. This stuff just works turn off skimmers and no filters or carbon and let it run through your tank system for 2-4 days then start back up your devices. Will overflow skimmers for a few days. UPDATE! Second time using product and this stuff is amazing! poured it in and placed fish in tank! Bam no waiting and now watching my fish for the second time loving the life! I will buy again! Thanks Dr. Tim! ( I am a product reviewer, I bought this item with my own money! I am a real person! I have personally used this product and give honest reviews! If you are interested in me doing a product review for your product and I am into that product let me know! Thanks )

Fishless cycle with Dr Tim's & ammonium nitrate works!!!
Followed the directions to a T and it worked! 💪 Set up: Recife eco 40 - Carib Sea dry rock and live sand. Ai 16hd, Nero 3 wave maker, and Axis 40 controlable pump. Added after boi cycle 2 clowns, 2 cleaner shrimp. Added a week ago after turning on the lights: a small colony of birdsnest and a plating montipora. So far elementary parameters have stabilized. I've also added algea barn galaxy-pods to help win on any nuisance algea buildup. Will update this post as time goes on.

This stuff 100% works
This stuff is the best in conjunction with the Dr Tim's ammonia. Cycled a 88 gallon red sea in record time. Trust me and just buy it

Seems to have done what it said it does.
Cycled a 120g tank with Caribsea Hawaiian Sand, media balls (the ceramic ones) and dry man-made liverock. Used the ammonia by the same brand to get up to about 4ppm. By day 2 I had a massive nitrite spike and Ammonia was just trace. Added more ammonia day 3 to get to 2ppm. Added microbacter7 on day 3 as well. Nitrite spike did last about 5 days reading off the charts before it went to 0. Refugium was up and running when the Nitrites became readable (API test). I’m about 10 days in and am running at 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, and about 10-20 nitrate.” With Chaeto growing nicely. I normally cycle tanks with gulf live rock and it takes about 4-5 days to get a stable tank setup. I’ve never really had the ups and downs of new tank syndrome. Will be interesting to see if I get the hair/bacteria/cyano blooms over the next few months.

It works well!
So far it seems to get the job done. Worked well for my 91 gallon red sea reefer 350. Got things started pretty fast. Was able to add fish in a week!

USED COUNTLESS NOW RESULTS LIKE THIS!!!
I used a bunch of different products for aquarium startup to create the bacteria. Bunch of fish loss over $400 in fish loss. No other product ever really worked. I put this product in within two weeks. I had a fully running fish tank with multiple different fish this is the best product on the market when it comes to starting a fish tank.

Back to microbacter. Thanks for getting two of my designer clownfish killed. Don’t play yourself this is overpriced too all superior brands are at max half the price. What a joke.

I recently had to restart my tank with an infestation of Aiptasia. and I went to Dr Tims for the second time. to save me.

I have cycled my red sea max nano with following the instruction, but it did not match the results I was expecting and I had to cycle the tank for a longer time than expected. Therefore It s difficult to judge if it is good or bad, but probably I will not buy again.

I've always been a little worried about using chemicals in the tank, but this stuff was great, along with the ammonia it cycled the tank very quickly, haven't had any problems so far, it's been a week with the fish in and still all readings are as they should be, did my first sand clean and water change today and all is good. This stuff works.

Make sure product within a year of production date. Also Pre cycled media with this will boost your Ammonia cycle.
