Ordered for bottle projects: work great and stay lit for a fairly long time

Would have given 5 stars but one did not work. And you have to be very careful not to pull the wire very much or they will stop working. Otherwise they look beautiful in the wine bottle.

Don't hesitate! Buy these magical little fairy lights! Idk how long they'll last per battery- but for the price-its worth it. You can bet your bottom dollar that I'll also be buying replacement batteries in bulk to keep these lighting up my life. My kid thinks they look tacky... but he also thinks "Old Town Road" is music for the ages..so his opinion is null and void. Also, I'm not sure why I thought these were a one size fits all wine bottles-they are not lol-the fake cork fits in some brands of wine perfectly, but sticks out too far in others, I should've known better. Regardless-Buy these. You won't regret it.

Loved these -- I put in wine bottles for our patio at night when we didn't want a lot of light. Received 8in the package but 2 didn't work. I put in new batteries (hearing aid ones work!) and they were OK.

Love these. A collection of interesting or embellished wine bottles with these lights is a great adornment for warm evenings on the deck.

These are cheapest lights I am able to find with good reviews on Amazon.* Works with wine bottle and few whisky bottles also.* Cool white color is really bright and in full dark also give you a lot of light.* Great lighting strings for various DIY projects. I am using for bottles on kitchen cabinets. Going to build something for covered patio also with this.

Ingenious idea to put the batteries in a cork-style housing. Unfortunately, not all of the sets worked as promised. Batteries tested in an appropriate range using a reliable battery tester on the defective lights (initially lit but shut off after 5 minutes). My feeling is that if you pay for 8 working strands of lights they should ALL work! I'd like to know what the seller is willing to do to make this right.

My neighbors and I are having fun with these lights. You don't have to drill a hole in the bottom of the bottle. The batteries are in the cork that comes with the lights. They last several hours. Have been giving them out as gifts to friends as they look cool in the dark on a cold winter's night. Batteries are easy to change and are a common size. My local ACE had a great deal on battery prices so I am ready to use this light for some time
