I use this everyday and I am glad I got these. The one I had previously easily broke and would pull out and would damage the cable. This one on the other hand is strong and the magnet that holds it together make this so much better to wear.From the images I was expecting it to be larger but it is a pretty decent size. Also pretty light weight. I think the badge and badge holder is actually heaver than the actual item.

I really am enjoying using this device. The use of magnetism to snap it in place and hold the cord until the keys are intentionally pulled is wonderful. The carabiner is the part I don’t appreciate. It is too big. And why should it have yet again another bottle opener? The traditional key reels clip onto a belt or pocket or tool bag with a clip on the back. This makes the entire device hang too low. That would not be a problem if it is used as a lanyard for an ID or ticket etc. Maybe that bottle opener has value at a venue where the bottle seller does not open the bottle.

My husband is a school custodian and got these for his (very heavy) work keys. We are far beyond impressed. The retraction on this is insane. I watched it snap back a good 6' like a boomerang. That of course also means you have to be careful lol. He has broken several cheaper versions and as such we bought the 2 pack. I have no doubt I could connect it to myself and hang freely and it still be new when I was done . 5 star, HIGHLY recommend!!!

Purchased for work because I work in a correctional facility and prefer to not wear a neck lanyard. Owned a few big box store brand id reels in the past but they always break within a few weeks. Saw this while scrolling and decided to pull the trigger. I am definitely not disappointed with my purchase! This is very well designed and well built. I love the ability to clip it directly to my belt loop. The part that holds your ID appears to be tear resistant. The string inside is definitely more rugged than others and there is also a magnet built in the reel as well that snaps it all back into place so its no worry at all if you wanted to put a heavy set of keys on it. Its a good value for the money and I would definitely buy again if need be, but I feel I won’t need to because of how well built it is!
