Cheap and very effective
Not a thing of beauty but a good boning knife that can go in the dishwasher.handle isn't slippery in use so safer than some I have used. Might need a couple of runs at the sharpener in use but it takes a fine edge.

No good.....
... If you want a knife that's been folded by a Samurai warrior 150 times and bathed in Saki, or if you want a showpiece to brag to your mates about over whisky and a cigar. This knife is definitely not for you.But, if you need a knife that will do its intended job, sharpens easily, won't rust and in my case is totally reliable then this might just be for you.I'm a fish and chip shop owner and quite unusually I fillet about 95% of my fish. 6 days a week. 52 weeks of the year. I've used all makes and qualities of knives yet the ones I come back to time after time are the Victorinox filleting knives. Proper working tools.I only recently discovered this curved filleting knife and find, for me, it's better then the straight filleting knives. Not sure why, it just feels easier to work with.I probably fillet around 300/400kg of different fish per week, usually haddock but also lemon sole, cod, hake etc and this knife just does the job. Brilliantly.For its price, for me and my job, its the best.

Sharp, lightweight and a pleasure to use
I like butchers knives. I have many, but I didn't own a 'boner'.Victorinox is the industry standard for this type of knife and at this price I had to buy one.Be warned, it's brutally sharp. No weight to speak of and therefore could lead to enthusiastic use - take your time and keep those fingers in check.Makes short work of everything I've tried, particularly muntjac deer carcass and chicken. I expect this knife to last a long time with occasional sharpening as and when.

Best filleting knife ever.
I am a keen sea angler and have lots of fish to work through in winter. This is the best knife I have used in years and I won't be looking for another in a hurry.The knife is very ergonimic and glides through fish skin and bone with ease. It's very reasonably prices as well.Great bit of kit.

Best boning knife you can get
Excellent knife with sharp and easily maintained blade. The handle has very nice texture and doesn't slip even when using gloves. I use it daily when processing meat and fish and it makes my job so much easier. You'll see many butchers, fishmongers and other professionals using this knife and there is a good reason for that.

Good knife but you'll need a sharpener
This is a very good knife with just the right amount of flexibility. It isn't razor sharp on receipt though, so you'l need a good sharpener and know how to use it.
