Perfect
Fed up with all bells and whistles phones and just wanted an easy to use good looking phone that works and this one looked like it would fit the bill. Received it next day after ordering and was impressed with it right out of the box. Shiny black case looks expensive and on flipping it open it hase nice big keys and you can see the letters for texting without putting your glasses on and a very clear screen. Camera picture quality isn`t that great at 1.3 mp but then it`s a phone, not a camera. Has the usual menu options and is very easy to navigate. Bluetooth works well and is easy to setup which you will need if your a ringtone freak as there isn`t that many to choose from installed on the phone but easy enough to add your own. Battery life seems good, lasted a week on the first charge but should inprove with a few more charges. Overall a very nice phone if you want a flip at a resonable price, recommended.

Functional but cheap
Bought this as an emergency phone to use when I go abroad (don't always like taking the iPhone). Pros 1. It's a traditional mobile phone - no bells or whistles. 2. Big buttons (yes, it has buttons, you don't press the screen). 3. Holds its charge forever (if you don't use it regularly then it can last on charge for a week). 4. Nice flip action, which protects the buttons and screen. 5. Small enough to easily fit inside pockets. 6. Doddle to set up. If you're used to modern smartphones, you may want to consider the following: 1. Texting is painful - it's the traditional Nokia texting functionality. Even short messages can take forever to type out (subsequently, adding contacts can be painfully slow too). 2. Camera is pretty hopeless (1.3 MP). 3. Phone feels cheap and is made of cheap plastic. 4. Screen is quite small. If you just want to make calls and send the occasional text, then this is a great phone. Just beware that it looks and feels cheap.

Nice, simple phonePro
Pros: 1. Small 2. Light 3. Stylish 4. Big buttons 5. Easy to use Cons: 1. Screen not the biggest - There is room for a slightly bigger screen. Got this phone for my mum as she was having trouble seeing the screen on her old phone, the screen is bright and reasonably clear but could be bigger as there is still plenty of space around the border. 2. Flimsy plastic covers for charging port and headphone port - bound to break off eventually only a matter of time. 4. Directional keys a bit small and hard to press

Unreliable piece of junk
Superficially a nice looking phone with simple menus, a clear display and nice big keys. It's later the downside starts becoming apparent. It is ridiculously hard to open in a hurry and the ring time is too short, meaning you never get to answer your calls with the phone in your pocket unless you are a wild west gunfighter or you switch your voicemail off. I normally love clamshell phones, but this one is a real ergonomic nightmare. I could live with the niggles but the real showstopper is that the phone is just unreliable. The first one I bought new from Amazon; it was only 8 months old and just switched itself off - never dropped or banged; it just wouldn't power up. (By the way, Amazon aren't interested in warranty claims - you have to deal direct with Nokia.) They tried to say it wasn't covered under the warranty but replaced it anyway. 3 months later the replacement has started losing lines on the external display, so its back to Nokia for another try at getting it fixed. If you are thinking about getting this one, don't bother - Nokia have made some good phones but this isn't one of them!

Fantastic and easy to use phone
Great Battery, Texting ,Calling, Style, Radio Free Hands free thingy b jig which I am using to listen to the radio at the moment in good quality................... *WARNING* USELESS if you want to store song/movies on. I don't even think you can even add a memory card! I can only fit on 1 mp3 lol, so not sure why it has mp3 functionality? Maybe I am missing something, but I cant find information in the manual explaining how to add memory and I looked on the net and other people have stated it's not possible. If I am wrong please somebody let me know. Still 5 starts though! A great phone for the price. Extremely happy with this purchase overall. For me the radio quality has more than made up for the lack of memory.

Brilliant phone for humans [non - geeks]
This phone has been around for nearly two years, so one might assume it is pretty useless these days, BUT, if it's a simple phone you want, but with all the main features (GPRS, Email, Internet, SMS Text, MMS picture,Bluetooth, etc), it is absolutely brilliant. Yes, it is definitely short on storage, so no good if you want to store lots of images and music files, but for ease of use, sensible size keys, very good reception,it is excellent.Screen size is not that big, so I would say Internet use will be limited. The build quality seems very good as well. I have installed with a Vodafone "Pay as you GO" SIM card and it worked first time. The Bluetooth connection worked fine with my Vista PC, so the lack of USB port doesn't matter too much. I looked for a more modern equivalent but could not find anything similar, either too simple or way too smart. My wife loves it and thinks it looks really COOL!

Standby time more like 28 hours, not cited 28 days. Typo?!
Bought one, ran out of charge in about 24 hours, returned. Thought it might be a dud one. Bought a second, charged it for 24 hours before using it. It still runs down within 48 hours. It's for a technophobe who hardly uses it so would expect it to sit in standby for days. Product spec says it lasts for 28 days on standby. I think there is a typo and it should say 28 hours instead! Technophobe is tolerating it so I'm saving myself hassle by just leaving it.
