Reviews on IPL systems are all over the board so we were very skeptical. But we finally reached our end with shaving, and all the issues that can create, so took a chance this one would work based on the reviews. What a great happy surprise!! Upon receipt, and having read all instructions we tried it out. It was completely painless, was quick to use, and easy to operate. The cooling head works perfectly to keep irritation at a minimum and it works on under arms, legs and private areas. We use it evry other day on the recommended setting in the program. After four weeks we have noticed a difference in the volume of hair remaining and what is is much finer and softer. We have high confidence, with continued consistent use, we will be mostly hair free within two to three additional weeks. Yes the process takes some time but it is no more than shaving and should soon be just once or twice monthly maintenance. This equates to solid proven success. We are so glad we took the chance and highly recommend this if you wish to be hair free without constantly having to shave. Also this company has been very consistent in reaching out to insure any questions/ issues we had were quickly resolved. This level of service is way beyond expectations and creates great confidence for us that they are here for the long run for their customers.

It's too bad that this device turned out to be just terrible. The first one was ordered as a Christmas gift and there is nothing worse than presenting a gift only to be told it doesn't work. Called in to support and the thing was a brick that would not power on. They were kind enough to replace it with a new one. That one did turn on but would inconsistently flash Once in a while. It just would not work. There is an indicator clicking confirmation when good skin contact is made and then nothing happens. Sometimes you get a flash when pressing the button but most of the time nothing. Auto mode which should make the process easier was just as useless. Bad product. Also returned. Not recommended

So far I like this product. It’s easy to use and I feel confident using it. I like the fact that the app tracks all of my sessions and progress. It walks you through the whole process. It also has informative articles which I read through because I’ve never used a device like this. It’s only been 2 weeks for me and so far I’m using it at a low level but so far there isn’t any stung or heat or anything but a cooling sensation like it mentions. It fits perfectly in my hand, it’s a good weight so it won’t slip & fall & break if feels very durable. The color is a gorgeous metallic rose which I love! The effectiveness so far after 3 weeks has been slight but I do use it at a low level. I’ll increase the level this week and update my review when I see more of a change but so far the hair seems to be growing back very slowly. So it is working!

This worked well on the underarm area. Results not as fast as I would have liked with the bikini zone, although I was definitely seeing progress. But then it stopped working around the 6 month mark. The indicator light on the cord comes on, and my outlet works with other devices, so there must be an interior fuse that quit. It will not turn on at all.

I hate the capacitive buttons on this. I always accidentally change the settings in the middle of a treatment. 3 stars.

I know you're reading this because you (like me) have been looking for a product to help with unwanted hair. I purchased this item a few months ago and it blows all my previous products away . It has every mode you could possibly need. The cooling effect helps with the heat to your skin. It's fast, so no more waiting forever between beeps. If you've had these before then you know what I'm talking about! It even comes with glasses to protect your eyes. I own a lot of product/tools and this is one of my faves.

I have been using it for almost 6 months and not seeing any reduction at all. I have brown skin with black hair. The app is stupid and really no use. I wish I could exchange this for a better machine.

This review is after 7 months of use. This device delivers less time between razor shaving than others I’ve tried. No it doesn’t eliminate hair. Yes it does significantly reduce hair growth rate. Know this before you make an investment in at home IPL devices. Who doesn’t want to shave less, right?Game changers:the head is larger than most which reduces the time using it. You still need to go slow and flash every inch.Cooling: my last device made me sweat. The ice cold head keeps me cool with no after heat feeling. You know you’re holding it correct if you feel the cold.Triple flash: put the device on automatic flash and it’s quicker than most. Triple flash makes hair grow slower.Use: I used the device weekly for 3 months. I was able to reduce time between razor shaving to every 12-14 days. Then I went to using the device twice a month with the same results and time between shaving. When I went to once a month the hair follicles appeared dark again and I needed to shave weekly. Find your sweet spot and know that you’ll need to add weekly or twice a month use to your regular lifetime routine. I’m willing to do that to shave less. If you completely stop, some hair WILL grow back. Know this.App: I didn’t use the app so no comment on that. It’s not rocket science to use.Glasses: I don’t trust glasses alone sent with devices. My eyes are more important than anything. I use the glasses, close my eyes and add a hand towel in front of my eyes. Yes I use this blindly!! But I have a great sense of direction and don’t miss areas.Conclusion: It’s the best device I’ve tried. I used cheaper ones with less than stellar results. This one does what it’s supposed to do- slow hair growth rate. I highly recommend it to stay silky smooth for longer time between razor shaving. It works fast too. Within a few weeks I noticed a big difference in the time hair was growing back. I hope you try it and get the same or even better results than I had but have reasonable expectations of what IPL is capable of delivering. I don’t think these devices are a great value. This was a big spend for me but totally worth it! Good luck.
