Well made and practical, the JSL 128GB flash drive has some handy features that make transferring and backing up photos and files from your phone simple and quick.As someone who is forever reaching their storage limit for backing up items on my phone to the cloud, this is a really useful device. It's very easy to set up and transfer of files is simple and effective. I like that it deduplicates files as it goes - that's a great time saver. The versatility of being able to use the the flash drive across different devices is also great.Admittedly, this is an expensive tool. Regular 128GB flash drives can be had for around £10-£20 so you're paying a fair bit extra for the connection options and app system - especially if you have the capability of transferring your photos directly from your phone to a PC anyway. Where I think this might really come into its own though, is as a portable storage device - for example, if you're taking 1000s of photos on holiday and want them backed up on the go or if you need to share something quickly from your phone at work. If you don't currently have a simple way of backing up or transferring photos and files from your phone then this is a good, high quality, solution.

Well this was so simple to set up I amazed myself - and everyone else who knows me. You literally just have to plug it into your phone or whatever, load the app and off you go. I have 1500 photos on my phone, plus a few videos, and it had no problems backing these up, although a little slowly. Then it was simply a matter of plugging the backup stick into my laptop and transferring them for posterity. It’s simple, it works - and it works well. Five stars.

Found this device really useful and simple to use. I inserted the USBc directly into my phone and it immediately prompted me to install the App. Afterwards it opened and started to backup my photos straightaway. When it was complete you can leave them on the transfer stick itself or plus the stick into your computer to store them there. There is an option on the App itself to delete the originals from your phone once it has copied them to the stick. I downloaded my photos onto my computer first to be sure they worked, then used this option to delete the phone copies after that.Works really well but the only gripe is the speed of transferring a large quantity of photos and video from the phone to the stick was pretty slow. Much faster to transfer from the stick to the computer though. Useful device and pretty simple to use.

And with its metal casing it can handle a few knocks too.It has three USB connectors, a USB C, USB 3.0 and lightening, which means it caters for all devices.Using it is pretty straight forward, just plug this USB into your device, install the apps, depending on your system, window or apple. Once the app’s done its business you then follow the easy to understand instruction on the app to get your photos, or other things, onto the flash drive.When you plug this in you’re greeted with 2 folders, one being the app folders, (mac and windows) the other showing a user manual and storage.It’s pretty fast when it comes to transferring your pictures or videos to the flash drive at an average rate of 70MB/s. so transferring data shouldn’t take too long.The app does a good job in what it’s designed to do, backing up your photos and videos without duplicating each time you back things up.Even though this looks the part and built to last £66.99 is a little steep for me, this is basically a memory stick with back-up app but it comes at a price, a hefty price considering the price of a standard 128GB flash drive which you can store pictures and videos, (and more) on.I’m guessing you’re paying for the software more than the flash drive itself. Even if it’s designed to fit different USB ports out there.It does save time when it comes to backing things up but not enough to justify the price tag, Hence the drop in stars.

Summary,It is a nice product with a good and easy to use app. However, I struggled to workout (and I am tech savvy) how to transfer individual files or photos to the device rather than take a full back up, e.g. to gain storage space on my phone or tablet.AppVery easy to use and free to download.Feelthe product is very well put together and the app is very good too.Value for moneyAt £67, I think this price is a bit high for a 128GB mem stick, albeit with a user friendly app.

It is small in size and can work on different kinds of devices including PC, Android and iOS phones. I tested with my iPhone and it worked well without any issues. I did quick speed test on the PC and read/write was impressive. It is lightweight with decent quality.Arrived well-packaged as shown in the attached photos.The price is slightly expensive in my opinion.Overall, I am happy to own it and will recommend.

So far, I can't get it to download my pictures it anything else.

Did a lot of research and bought this as a gift. Took all day for initial backup but that is understandable.Does incremental backups as advertised

Im Rahmen von Amazon Vine bekam ich den Speicherstick als kostenloses Testprodukt. Der Stick kommt gut verpackt zuhause an, die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut und dazu sieht der auch noch sehr hochwertig aus. Am iPhone angeschlossen wird er erkannt und man kann die Fotos/Videos darauf sichern um wieder Platz auf dem Gerät zu bekommen. Als Speichererweiterung/Backup Stick ist der ideal geeignet. Von mir gibt es 5 Sterne für den Stick

This is a really attractive, well-made stick: it's made entirely of metal (i.e. very robust), comes with a Lightning adapter and a ring with carabiner closure. The lightning adapter has a wide case (as the opposite side is a regular USB-A) and you will have to remove your phone case to get it to attach to your iPhone.I tested the app on my iPhone 14. The backup is already very simple, the software is easy to use, but the transfer speed to the stick wasn't that exhilarating.

I like that this is a small product that can be used with Apple, Android, or Windows products. The directions were initially confusing regarding the installation of the app. For Android, the app installs automatically upon inserting the USB stick. However, the directions state that it must be installed. This is true for Apple, but not Android. Once this was realized, the device quickly downloaded all photos and videos from my phone. I was getting a new phone and wanted to ensure I didn't lose any photos during the transfer process. I am very happy with this product, except that the directions need to be clearer.
