Digital Menu Screen alternative
Excellent cost value and alternative to digital menu screens, had several monitors being used as menu screens and attached these and ran them to the monitors and they work great. For ease of use get a small memory stick and put whatever file or image you want to use so that when the unit turns out it will default to the file / image automatically without you having to do anything.

No after sale care apparently.
This item worked until I disconnected it when I went away. When I returned after 16 days, I turned it back on but it would not work but this was outside of the return period and I was not offered any way of contacting the seller.

BRILLIANT
Bought this for our local museum to show various videos to the public. Needed a device to come on automatically when the museum opened and power was switched on, and off when it closed and power switched off. Works like a charm and we are very happy with it. It will also be extremely useful at various other times for showing off exhibits or graphic illustrations at meetings.Couldn't be more happy with our purchase, particularly as it cost a lot less than we were expecting to pay to fulfill our requirements.

Bad experience using it
Depending on what you want to use it for this can be a great little gadget, major issues I had was the remote was not good if your playing back content that has subtitles there is not button on the remote to switch them on and off same with audio you have to actually enter a menu to do this, which honestly I found extremely annoying.I have an older unit similar product but the subtitles/audio flip is on the remote and easy to access this is not sadly. It played both my hard drives while plugged in but did struggle.Played back content fine only issue was once you set up your content to play back a perticular way it kept jumping out of the size ratio. Instead of just upscalling to the correct format even when trying to do it manually changing threw the menu it struggled making things look weird and not correct. My older unit would just automatically play things correctly without having to mess around to much.Perhaps it didn't like my TV no clue but the mouse feature also on the remote is pointless so navigation wise not the best untit I've tried. It was fast if your running usbs but for bigger hard drives with alot of content it did struggle and crash. Not sure it's worth the price

Struggles with 1080p and 4K Playback – Likely Due to Cheap Hardware
I really wanted to like this media player — the specs seemed promising and the price was attractive. Unfortunately, after a week of use, I started noticing consistent stuttering during 1080p and 4K video playback, even with locally stored files and a solid internet connection for streaming. The stutters aren’t occasional — they happen frequently enough to make watching anything in HD or UHD frustrating. I’ve tried multiple file formats and different apps, but the performance issue is consistent. My suspicion is that the manufacturer cut corners with cheap or underperforming memory. It feels like the system is constantly struggling to keep up with basic video decoding, which shouldn’t be a problem in 2025 for even modest hardware. There’s no way this unit should be marketed as 4K-capable if it can’t even handle 1080p smoothly. If you’re looking for a smooth media playback experience, especially in high definition, I’d suggest looking elsewhere or waiting for a hardware revision. As it stands, this device is fine for basic tasks or SD video, but anything more demanding pushes it past its limits.

EASE OF USE.
Bought this 4K Media Player so I could play my own Movies, TV Series and music. I attached it my 4K TV. Then I attached a Crucial X6 2TB potable hard drive to the Media Player and that's how I play my media. From day one till now I've never had a problem with this player. It's got basic settings for your screen size your audio and your subtitles. It auto detects your TV and you may have to go into settings and adjust the screen so it fits to the edge of your TV. Like I say I use this media player everyday and so far never had a problem. Happy with purchase.
