Perfect for traveling musicians not interested in the app
Many of the reviews that complain of issues are people not understanding how to use the keyboard. I can see why it would be confusing so hopefully I can help those who use music apps or who are new. The charging lights can be turned off. Watch the video to figure out how! Please note that I am not using their app so this review doesn’t cover it. Pros: The thing I was most concerned about was that I had to use their app. I’ve never once installed it and have full control of the keyboard through GarageBand. I split the screen to read music in a different window. It also can be used with ForScore for basic practice but doesn’t sound as nice. I can’t wait to use it with Ableton. I haven’t tried it yet but my guess is that it will work wonderfully. The keys feel somewhat small but perfect for on the go. They feel about the same quality as a Yamaha keyboard. Doesn’t feel weighted but will do the job for its size. It comes with USB to USB-C AND a USB-C to USB-C cord. I thought it was just the one in my video that I recorded but found the other in the box that the speaker came in. Cons: The speaker has to be used to use the sustain pedal. I’m hoping to find a way to use another Bluetooth pedal within the apps but haven’t found a solution yet. The speaker is pretty quiet. It doesn’t seem very loud so if someone was going to use it as their main sound, it might be too quiet. Bluetooth isn’t an option for a normal person. Please plan to have a wired set of headphones if you want to use headphones with this. Take note that Bluetooth has a delay for any audio signal so this is not the fault of the piano!

"PopuPiano Smart Piano Keyboard: Multifunctional and perfect for beginners"
The PopuPiano Smart Piano Keyboard is a really great choice! In particular, it is attractive that it is packed with many beginner-friendly features and allows you to enjoy learning music while progressing. The rainbow light keys visually support your playing, so even beginners can immediately see where to press and practice smoothly. In addition, it is great that it has 256 types of tones and over 100 types of chords built in. This allows you to play various musical styles and genres and practice without getting bored! It can also be used as a MIDI controller, so it can be used for music production and recording, and it is also attractive that it will expand the range of music in the future. The sustain pedal jack can be used to add depth to your performance, which enhances your expressiveness as a performer. It is also convenient that it has an audio input, and being able to connect to external devices and play together is a big plus for enjoying more diverse musical activities. Overall, I think it is a very well-balanced piano keyboard that is excellent in both technical and entertainment aspects!

Not for real piano player
This piano is for people to who want to play games, not to learn piano. The app has lessons, but its not teaching you how to play piano, instead its teaching you how to play its game. I am disappointed after trying the piano, not only the sounds of piano is very weak, for intermediate piano player who knows how to play piano, this is definitely not a piano you want to use to practice even when you away from home. Cons: sounds bad Only 55 keys Need to have a ipad or smart phone for sounds Pros: its small Thats it!

Such a cool MIDI keyboard!! Perfect for me!
I have been looking for a portable MIDI keyboard to bring with me outdoors for almost a year. I tried foldable keyboards and other stuff, and then I found this one! It is the PERFECT one for me! It comes with a small bag, is lightweight, and is so easy to take it anywhere! The coolest part is this one comes with 2 parts of keyboard, you can use either one or two depends on how you want. It is so easy to connect with my macbook music software apps like Mainstage (just use type c cable to connect). It also comes with a good sound quality portable speaker which makes outdoor friends hangout even easier and more fun! It also has all the rainbow colors and it comes with a cool app that everyone can use it to learn how to play a keyboard/piano or even make some music!

good tiny MIDI CONTROLLER, works with GarageBand and Logic Pro
This is a cute, tiny, midi controller with color changing keys, and does NOT make any sound by itself, it's a controller that can send MIDI signals (over USB-C) to a computer or other MIDI device that will accept an external keyboard. There is a lot to like about it, both from a beginner (the lighted keys), and for stage use to add some flash if a small keyboard is needed (29 keys, 2+ octaves, range a few octaves up or down), plus it's got 7 chord keys that each have 3 variations depending on where you touch them (top/middle/bottom). Keys do not have pressure sensitivity, but do have acceleration detection. Be aware you need a -different- model to expand this kits key range, and the keys are small, not standard size. The only things I don't like are 1) the chord key block is barely held on by magnets and falls off if the keyboard is itself lifted, and 2) if charging/data cable is plugged in (say for use as a controller) there's no way to turn off the key lights. Unless you want to use it as a rather bright night-light, you have to unplug the cable -every time- . Seems a bit nuts. Customer support said they might change that in future designs, but for now there's no software update (or way to do it, it seems). I can't comment on the software (and app for phone or tablet) as I'm just using it as a controller.

Overpriced midi controller
I had really high hopes for this, but honestly, the app sucks. There is a massive delay from when you press the keys to when it registers on screen. It works much better as a super basic midi controller when using other apps like Simply Piano, but this app was awful. Honestly, just get a cheap midi controller and save the money.
