Easy to fit, and it does the job.

Purchased for a gaming chair, next time I’d get a slightly smaller one as this is hard to adjust as I’m not that heavy. It’s well made though and great quality, just my advice is it consider who is using the chair and purchase accordingly.

This was only just long enough at maximum height

Great gas strut, saved my chair from going to the tip. It's also added some additional height if I want it from the standard strut. I'm 22ish stone and this so far has held itself at the same height perfectly. Well made and heavy compared to the strut it replaced. You'll need a hammer and a pipe spanner wrench in order to twist the old gas strut out. Plenty of videos on YouTube how to do this.

superb item, works as it should,

This was a direct replacement for a gas-lift on an old office chair. I needed one with greater distance of travel. Dimensions at both ends were identical, and it's a push-fit with no screws or bolts. The hardest part was knocking out the old unit.

So far it's working very well and even has a slightly higher lift than the strut it replaced. Hard to comment on quality - time will tell.
