We ordered this in black. I did have to call customer service because the shipping label said it was coming as a different finish, but apparently it meant black and we got what we expected. It's heavy, well constructed and solid. Loving this table! Most times we leave it with just one leaf for my husband and I. Last night we had guests and we put in another leaf, and it's seated all four of us very comfortably with the clearance for the legs which are a bit wide. We are hosting Thanksgiving this year, I can't wait to see what we can do with it. We also ordered the bench shown in the picture of the bowl on it. We don't use the bench for just two or four of us. I ordered chairs from somewhere else, because I wanted to have the dining room experience anytime without having to pull out the bench. Also, they didn't have the style I wanted in the color I wanted. It does accommodate standard height chairs. Our chairs are about 18 and 1/2 in from the floor to the seat, I add this because I had a difficult time understanding what 'average sized' chairs meant to people. I think anything up to 19 in would be perfectly fine, beyond that I'm not sure. Thrilled with this purchase!

This table is sooo well made - it’s really stylish - it fits seamlessly into our den and expanded in our dining room to change an 8 seat table into a 16 seat table for a baby shower - I could not be happier with this product

This table is perfect for my needs. Beautiful color of wood, sturdy, and very attractive. I did not want a large table that would get in the way and gather junk. I wanted a a big table to use at Thanksgiving but then use as a side table the rest of the time. This one is that table. I would buy it over and over again.

I had my heart set on a table this size that was almost 3x the price of this one. I had to settle for something cheaper and I couldn’t be happier. This was the only table on the internet or in person I could find that would fit our whole family and was sturdy/quality. It was also the only thing I could find to fit my desired aesthetic. It is an incredibly well made piece, and I can see this giving us a lot of beautiful memories over the years! This was very quick and easy to unbox and set up. Each piece is very heavy and solid! Only downside is due to the center supports, most over chairs cannot put 5 on each side, so unless you use fold out chairs or very skinny ones, this is more of a 10 person max table. Especially for comfort of elbow room.Delivery was incredibly easy and the men were great. It ended up being early morning and they rang and knocked multiple times even though we missed their call and were very tired! We were so grateful they didn’t do what most do and call, then give up and say they couldn’t deliver. This came from Canada so shipping did take a little while but nothing we consider unreasonable for such a heavy item. I can’t say enough good things about it!

Entirely assembled, easy to enlarge, lovely as an under TV stand as we use it. In our small home’s Florida room it couldn’t work more perfectly for us. We love it! There is some variation in the design, very nice.

I am so happy I purchased this table.I appreciate the ease to add or remove sections. Perfect table for all occasions! The quality is not compromised by appearance. Very well made and sturdy!

The manufacturing quality is poor! As you can see from the photos, there is misalignment significant enough such that the "base" table configuration cannot be connected together. This leaves a gap in the middle!!Manufacturer, I hope you can rectify your mistake here!!

Set up was a breeze, and it's everything they say it is. Sizing flexibility is key, and the structure in any length is strong and lends confidence. Using proper floor safety products, in our case, felt slider pads, keeps this heavy table from marring our freshly refinished clear oak floors from scratches and marks.Transformer Tables customer service was great! They made the process seamless and timely. Amazon APP delivery notifications made things crazy, as it "said" our table was out for delivery, a WEEK ahead of schedule, and my house was in the middle of a remodel, with NO place to store it, other than outside, where it was and will be raining for over a week. No neighbors to help, either.A quick call to both Felicia at Transformer Table and their shipper, Metropolitan Shipping, eased my mind. The table will be delivered on time, at the assigned date and time window.And it was done exactly as expected!And, the pricing was favorable, and below what Costco was charging at the same time.
