One day I had a thought while cooking. “How amazing would it be to have a battery operated grinder with one button so you could add salt and pepper and other spices with one hand. And how amazing would it be if somehow it was interchangeable?” Then I did a quick search to see if there was something similar to what I had been thinking about and that’s when I found Finamill and they had already created what I was dreaming up. I just love this device when cooking and they bring such spirit into evolving it.

Could be a little more powerful

Replacement “part” is a definite upgrade.

I bought this because I couldn't find a Pro pod to replace the one that broke (possibly due to salt corrosion). The description does not say that this pod won't grind salt or pepper but that is what I learned when I bought it. I'm angry about it because of that and also because I'm unable to buy the Pro pod either from Amazon or directly from Finamil, unless I buy a set of 4 pods for over $100.

Didn’t like it at first. Who wants a single mill where you need to change pods (or whatever they’re called) to do simple basic salt and pepper seasoning. BUT…once I got the hang of how easy the switching was, I actually bought another pod. Now, I’ve got incredibly easy access to fresh ground Himalayan salt, triberry peppercorns, and dried rosemary leaves that grind so easily.. I’m considering more pods for more of my spices, but that would kind of take away from having the whole bit sit on a simple tray right next to my stove. Highly recommend.
