Best FDM printer I have owned
I have been 3d printing as a hobby for about 8 years (as of 2025). I have both FDM and resin printers and have seen the evolution through the years. This printer is by far the easiest to set up and prints excellently right out of the box. I used Anycubic PLA and PETG and it just works. The slicer has great feature and it is fast. I highly recommend this printer, especially if you are new to printing and want to jump right in. Add the ACE on when you are comfortable to get multi-color and material options. Great printer to get up and running with Multiboard BTW.

One of the best values around in 3d printers.
After coming from a horrible owners experience with the Elegoo Neptune 4 and that companies poor customer service for almost a year I was very cautious my second time around when finding a replacement 3d printer. After a lot of research into the various brands on the market I came to the consensus that Anycubic would be my next choice in 3d printers. After coming off a very unpleasant experience with the Neptune 4 product, I was looking forward to enjoying the 3d experience once again. I wasn't wrong by choosing Anycubic. I chose the Kobra 3 for it's value and features it had. I have been so impressed by the Kobra 3 that four months later I purchased another Anycubic product, the Kobra 3 Combo. The slicing software, the Anycubic app, the Makeronline community, all excellent. With the addition of the Anycubic cam or as on my other unit, an older Logic webcam, you can view the progress of your prints remotely through the app or online. If anything appears wrong you have the ability to stop the process remotely and the program can utilize AI to determine if something is wrong with the print and pauses it, sends you a notification if you want to continue or not. That feature alone has saved a ton of wasted material and time. It has everything you need for advanced printing and is still logically laid out enough that beginners will be in the drivers seat in no time. All 3d printers have a learning curve to be fair and from experience I can tell you you will not be disappointed in the Kobra 3 for it's value and features.

Just save your money and buy from literally any other companys printer.
I did not have any sort of high expectations for this printer at all. I knew it was cheap and did not expect anything crazy. Just wanted an entry level printer as I havent had one since back in the days of manual leveling and needed a hobby to pass some time. This thing has been absolute garbage since day 1. I had printers almost 8 yrs ago that printed more consistently than this can. The bed leveling is for show. It does nothing for you, and anycubic has their software so locked down that you can't even see a mesh profile to see if it's even making one.Hope you like horrible software too as you are stuck using anycubic next or the anycubic phone app. Oh, careful with the phone app. If you send a print remotely, even with bed leveling beforehand, you may just come home to a print bed that has been scraped clean and destroyed by the "auto-leveled" nozzle. Also, don't expect a response from anycubic support about the issue either. So if you do make the mistake of purchasing this right now make sure you get some spare nozzles and build plates, you'll probably need them. Oh also it doesn't say it on this listing but a good amount of these printers come with a defective hotend that anycubic WILL replace, once it overflows and fills your whole extruder with globs of filament 👍🏼but not before that. Just to be clear. The gantry is crooked more times than not. You can relevel it, but don't you fret, it will be crooked again in no time. Why? Who knows. Oh and be sure that you keep your eye on the bed as you tram it as light pressure will also tweak the bed just enough to misalign your gantry if you're not careful enough.Does it print fast? Sure. Do some people have decent luck with it? Absolutely. But all in all it's an extremely low grade printer with a whole host of problems that can easily be mitigated by just spending a tiny bit more on literally any other printer than this one. I went in with very low expectations and was still massively let down. I spent more hours doing test prints to try and fix this damn thing than I did actually printing anything. Now I'm outside of the return window and am not cruel enough to pawn this POS off on anyone else. Maybe I'll deconstruct it and make a statue of the parts, or throw it into a ravine.

Good price
I have had a few problems but Amazon took care of them. Now I have a few months under my belt it works well. When I first got it it didn’t print well at all. I had to zero it out but after I got it worked out it’s worked well. For the price it a good little machine.

Good Quality Printer
This is a great printer! My son has two other 3D printers, but they only have the capability to print in one color. This can print in up to 4 colors. One note, which I didn't realize when I ordered it, you do need to have the ANYCUBIC ACE Pro 4 Mulitcolor Printing to be able to print in up to 4 colors. We ended up ordering it so he could print multicolor. I am gald we did. He has been so creative with his designs and has made some impressive things. He says the print quality is excellent. He even made personalized door signs for his brother's hockey team. This is a great little printer!

Some problems with it but it works great when it works
I’ve had a lot of issues with this printer but their support has been great so I’m changing my 1 star rating to 3. Had a bad y axis bearing. Y rail was warped. Extruder tension hot pressed nut came out when I tried to adjust it(no I didn’t over tighten). Light on print head flickered. Various firmware updates fixed some issues and caused other issues. Currently cannot run vibration compensation so they’re sending me a new heated bed. Some prints are great other are terrible. Sometimes it’s my skill level sometimes it’s the printer. To be fair I use the heck out of it so for the price point I’d say it was a good purchase. It’s a very hands on printer so if you want to just print and not tinker you might consider looking elsewhere. One thing I wish they’d do differently was not epoxy in the print nozzle. Despite what you read online you cannot replace the print nozzle. If you try it will just shear off at the first thread. The whole heat block with nozzle is only $13 but sometimes out of stock so I’ve stocked up.
