Great Mic Stand: Solid Performance At A Great Price!
I waited a found the microphone arm stand that was perfect for me. I love the metal construction. It's not flimsy. Adjusting the height of the arm is easy and it remains in place to hold my Shure SM7B.I appreciate the addition of the heightening rod which provides nearly 3.75 inches of clearance over my keyboard. The stand swings into and out of place without difficulty. For the price versus others microphone arms on the market, I highly recommend the AK-55.One caveat, manufacturers should consider a making the screw clamp base longer to accommodate thicker desks. I had to use my oscillating tool to modify the bottom of the desk to make the base fit.

Aokeo came in clutch
Works very well with the Fifine K688 and the clamp size is as advertised, I really needed an arm with a large clamp size and literally this is the only boom arm I can use. The boom arms aren't the issue, the clamp was and aokeo came in clutch. Height adjustment is super easy, and the build definitely has a bit of weight to it, sturdy and stable, if you extend the arm all the way, it has a bit of a shake. Very little though. Clean and professional look.

Exactly what I wanted
Docked one star because it was never shipped. I had to contact Amazon customer service to get the item delivered. It worked out but I shouldn't have had to deal with it in the first place. The Mic stand works well, holds its position without being to tight to move, and makes keeping my mic out of the way much easier. The base swivel doesn't have any vertical freedom of movement, but the 6 inch riser can help aleviate that problem. In any case I don't need movement in that direction except on the pivot at the end (which has a full range of motion and holds in place well at any angle.I'm using this with a pretty large and heavy mic and it has no problem holding it in place. I could do with somewhat better tampening, but there are other ways to mitigate that problem. Over all a very good mic stand at a fair price.

Shure SM7B approved
I got these for their low profile with vertical boom feature. I had ordered other booms but returned them because they could not hold the SM7B. These booms are great AND cheaper! The included vertical extenders elevate the boom enough so the arm will not interfere with anything on the table. The cord channels are easy to use. They feel very solid, and look professional. The functionality is great however I made some modifications. I hate clamps for microphones. I get that they are non intrusive and make it easy to relocate, but for me I already had permanent holes in my table. As you can see in my pictures I pulled the rubber from the bottom of the clamp to reveal 3 screws holding the mount. Once I separated the mount I drilled a hole in the bottom and used a grade 8 bolt to thread the hole. The mount is a soft aluminum so it wasn't too hard to do. From there I just bolted it to the table, mounted the booms, and made my final adjustments and tightening.Overall great product that is affordable, quality, and easy to work with.

Amazing!
10/10 Adore this thing. Low orofile, very adjustable, and super sleek. It's also all metal so its really sturdy.

Sleek and Discreet
I was quite impressed with the build quality on this mic arm. Looks and feels sturdy and all the articulation points are firm. At each rotation point there is a safety screw that you can tighten to make it even more locked together. There are also two screw sizes for the mic mounting point which is nice.Very easy to install and stays in place without the gaudy springs you see on a lot of other arms. The wing screws for the desk attachment and on each of the bend points are nice and big so they are easy to grip and use. A bonus I didn't realize when I ordered it was that there are 6 rubber pieces on the under side that I'm guessing are for cable management. Wouldn't hold an XLR cable but if it is a USB microphone it works pretty well.

Best horizontal mic stand for the price
I see the mic stands Joe Rogan uses, and other streamers / podcaster and have wanted one, but I am not willing to drop $200 + on a mic stand unless I am making a boatload of cash using my microphone like those individuals.Fast forward to finding this one random day, and the price enticed me, so I bought it.When it arrived the package had a little heft to it, more than I expected so I was surprised already. When I opened the package I was sold before even using it. I could tell the hardware wasn't just cheap garbage that won't hold up a tiny tike microphone, but instead it's a quality piece of hardware that holds my Shure SM7B and Lewitt LCT 440 Pure without issues, and anyone that knows those microphones know they have a little weight to them.Holds them out towards my face, horizontally without issue, and without droop. In my opinion, for the price, this is the best horizontal mic stand out there, and I would buy it many times over, that's how much I believe in it's quality!

Great looking Boom! Not the best if you need to adjust it often or move it.
This boom looks fantastic! However, in the area they focused no for looks it lacks in quality. The first issue we had with this was the screws to adjust the boom kept scripping. After 2 weeks of use the screws were nearly unuseable. I take meetings standing and sitting so I had to adjust the boom. The issue is everytime you adjust it you need the tool and it takes a bit. The second issue is the arm doesn't lock in one location if you want to find a sweet spot. There are defined spot it must lock into or it will slip to the near gear hole. The final issue was nothing stayed tight. Screws would loosen because I kept moving the boom out of my way, the microphone portion would fall because my microphone was a bit heavy. Even the desk mount I noticed would losen and start to slipI purchased a less attractive boom but one that is more sturdy and easily adjustable. If you don't adjust your boom often and want something that looks high end then this is for you!
