I cook my bulgar in a rice cooker with vegetable broth for added flavor and then eat it plain or make a mediterranean salad with it. I add garbanzo beans, cucumber, red onion, red bell pepper, tomatoes, Kalamata olives, garlic, parsley and feta. Then add salt and pepper to taste and squeeze a lemon and some evoo and combine. It's so good and perfect for summer picnics and pairs well with grilled shrimp, fish, or chicken.

I try to keep 1-2 cups cooked to add a little to salads, soups, as well as an occasional swap out for rice in stir-fries and of course as a side dish. It's very versatile.

When you master how to cook it (it needs low to medium heat for a long time) it tastes wonderful. Toast the grains with your choice of fat for 10 min before cooking for a deeper flavor. Tastes better than rice and finer cut bulgur. I love the texture of the bigger grains. Very good used for grain bowls and as an extra for salads

Love this grain. I'm pre diabetic and this has a lower glycemic value than brown rice or whole grain pasta and tastes better!

Quality and quantity is good but bit pricey

Why was it wrapped in Saran Wrap? That’s so sketch and weird. Doesn’t expire until 2026. Price so high. Cooking instructions are HORRIBLE… had to google how to cook it (combine 2 cup water with 1 cup bulgar in pot, bring to boil, lid on and simmer for 10 mins, then drain).
