I love this oil solidifier and find it extremely easy to use. I never knew such a thing existed but once I found it, I knew I needed to try it. I love it! It makes it so much easier and safer to throw my oil away because it thickens it and so I can just safely throw it in the garbage. I highly recommend it.

This stuff works great. Pouring oil down the sink, even with soap and hot water, is just screaming for plugged plumbing in the future. And pouring oil into a trash can, even with a plastic bag inside, is just asking for a bag break and drips of oil all over the floor when taking out the trash or inside the trash can. The Cooking Oil Solidifier solves both problems. Once done cooking, while the oil in the pan is still hot, stir in a scoop of product for every 8-oz of fat or oil, and then let things sit. As the oil cools, it will form a stiff gel that can be lifted out and disposed in a wastebasket (or burned in a campfire). From a cast-iron skillet, the gel lifts out perfectly, leaving a very easy-to-rinse and wipe-out skillet, ready for storage and reuse.

I bought a small one to try first and if it worked, I’d order a large one. To my surprise the product worked so good that no greasy residue was left on the pot. I loved the results. Really worth buying.

Works great! We no longer have to save jars to put used oil in to put in the trash. This congeals with the oil and you can scrape it out of the pan into the trash. Saves the septic and no leaking bags of trash.

This product is wonderful. I don’t have a problem disposing oil after I fry. I just sprinkle some of this product and the oil becomes solid after it cools. I then just scrape it up into a plastic bag and dispose

Just follow directions and it makes clean up so much easier. We have since stopped using vegetable oil so much so this will likely last me a very long time. No smell that I could discern and it seems like a good value.
