i have no directions for setting the time either in or on the pkg. I also checked the website. any suggestions  would be a great help.

There are 3 functional buttons on this watch.  You have to press and hold the tiny hidden yellow button on the side (I used a toothpick) to get it into editing mode.  Then use larger bottom button to update date and time.

How do I change the batteries?

How To Replace Watch Batteries (x2 LR754):
1) Lift (open) the protective cover to expose the face of the watch
2) Carefully peel the inside plastic graphic off the face of the watch
3) Using a small Phillips (eyeglass or computer) screwdriver, remove the x3 screws (put tiny screws in a safe place)
4) Remove the blue plastic face cover by pinching & lifting from one of the metal contact prongs (IF REQUIRED: see How To Replace "Flashy Lights" below)
5) !Carefully! lift white watch face out of watch housing ***White Watch Face is attached by a single RED WIRE*** (NOTE: The three blue side buttons MAY come dislodged if the watch housing is jarred)
6) Turn over white face and peel the LEFT side of the white tape (covering the batteries) far enough to the right (little more than half-way) to uncover the battery bracket's screw
7) Using the small Phillips screwdriver, remove the center bracket x1 screw (put tiny screw in a safe place)
8) Setting bracket aside, remove x2 LR754 batteries & replace with new batteries
9) Follow steps in reverse to seal up the watch...
10) Test watch for operation

How To Replace "Flashy Lights" Batteries (x2 LR41)*:
1) Turn over plastic face cover
2) Using a flathead screwdriver, pry the batteries upwards (make note of battery orientation)
3) Replace x2, LR41 alkali batteries
4) Orient batteries and slide back into place
5) Follow steps in reverse to seal up the watch (see Replace Watch Battery step 4 above)
*NOTE: these LR41 batteries run the protective cover "flashy lights"... NOT THE TIME!

My watch is always running slow and won't keep the right time how do I fix this

Throw it away and get a another Disney themed watch that works better. This watch is a waste of time and money.

I bought three Disney Kids' FZN3598 two weeks  ago. One of them was out of order from the first. 
I purchased these items direct from abroad. So I don't know how to deal with this item

I don't know. I ordered 2 and I didn't have a problem with any of them. But if you call the number on your invoice they'll tell you what to do. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
