Excellent the batting of baseballs or softball, it doesn't seem that the weight was 30oz and the quality of the grip is better than even those of MLB brands.I recommend it 100%.

This 33" skinny barrel bat has been a excellent training tool for my boys and myself. The bat is a little long for my boys and heavy but they are working with it to help increase swing speed and ball recognition. The bat is solid alloy one piece design, with comfortable grip. It is an Axe bat so it has that Axe standard bat knob. I know some like it some don't so that will need to play into your decision on getting the bat or not. While I am not a huge fan of that design I can get over it for training. What is really great about the bat is that it can be used for basically any type of baseball or softball. You can even hit standard baseballs with it!We have been using it mainly to hit mini baseballs to further increase the challenge of hitting. I can clearly tell that this does impact your ball recognition. After using this with the mini balls we moved to standard size balls and they looked huge in comparison. Getting really good contact. Then moving to a normal bat further increased the contact. This will be in our training routine for sure.The only downside we have so far is that when hitting really balls, bad hits sting bad. This bat just is not designed to reduce sting but that is a minor gripe for a training tool. Highly highly recommend this.

The grip handle is very comfortable and it is a perfect weight for a baseball trainer. It is easy to pack up in the backpack for travel. I highly recommend this trainer bat.

I tested this hand-eye trainer bat for baseball and softball, and it works well. It is very durable, made from metal materials, and has the perfect handle for long practice sessions. I strongly recommend this training bat. It has helped me improve my game.

Axe's signature flared handle separates them from other bat makers - it's a niche, but I find a lot of younger ball players like it for added control. We used this skinny barrel in batting practice and it is on par with their other bats. Well made, excellent quality and absolutely love it for increased hand eye coordination training. It only comes in two sizes and although my son uses a 29", he didn't have any trouble using the 30".

This bat is solid. It is heavy and has the axe handle. I like how this feels in my hands. This has held up for many swings. A great way to improve your hand eye coordination.

My son loves this. He uses one at his club ball training facility, and was very happy to have one for home. Quality is very good, the barrel is very skinny, and this helps a lot with getting bat/ball contact.
