The cycle comes in a knocked down form. Which means that most parts are fit from factory itself. The gears, chain and main body are assembled. What one needs to fit at home are front tyre, mud flaps, handle, seat, pedals, reflectors. It doesn't take along time to assemble the bike. There are videos from hero and other cycle brands which you can watch and perform the assembly. If you are not the enthusiastic kind then you can get it assembled from a shop. I did it myself and enjoyed it a lot. I learned about cycle parts a lot.About the bike itself, the overall bike is well made and we'll put together. It rides smoothly and the 18 gears are good. The gear knobs provided on this model are not the best and it can be difficult for a child or lady to change them quickly. Also, if the gears are not well tuned then they can be very hard to turn using the gear knob. Shock absorber work well. The seat is a bit small, but ok. Could have been more soft. The wheels I feel are not balanced. Need to get them balanced from a bike shop. Tyres are good-quality.There is no bell. Comes with front and back reflectors and side stand.PS: on my bike the gears were not fine tuned properly. There are videos in internet which you can refer. Also the brakes needed tweaking for my bike.All in all, a very nice product at an affordable price.

Good product, value for money - no issues with the product but the free assembly was pathetic. It was so bad that the front fork was fixed in the opposite direction. When I felt odd when driving, I took it local cycle shop, they just laughed at the assembly done. Apparently, the guys who fixed it were going cycle fitting for 3 days (Amazon calls them experts ??) And they are gym equipment technicians. most of the bolts were not fixed. I had to spend another 500 bucks at local cycle shop to redo the entire assembly.

Great cycle. Sturdy built and came in factory packaged carton.Worth the money. Is cheaper than competition with no corner cutting in Quality. The parts fit well and overall the design and specs are good.Unfortunately, the DIY booklet sucks. The print is poor Quality, and the pictures there make no sense because you cannot see what is being assembled in the picture. There are some chinese characters in the photos, but the product seems to be made in India. Wonder why the pictures had to come from China for a product manufactured in India. The booklet almost seems to be an afterthought with no resemblance either to sequence (Front tire assembly is on the last page) while the saddle is the first thing its asks you to fix. Someone was on weeds when they made the DIY book. Does not look like an engineering booklet.Other than that... the product is awesome. Pay 200 to nearest cycle shop and get it assembled. You will save yourself some embarrassment in front of the family and the kid that looks upto you to do right things...:)

Screws and basic tool kit are not available in the box. After trying many times the installation person came for installation and he does not know how to do it., He is the guy to do the TV wall mount not cycle installation. He doesn't know how to fit gear bcycles.Don't have proper tools with the person for assembling the cycle. After many trail's he just fits some of the parts.Then we take the cycle to cycle shop to assemble it properly and spend some extra bugs.The Product is good but why Amazon send such a no knowledge persons for the installation, My kids are happy with the cycle and color.

Lot of issues:1) The toolkit which was supposed to come within the package was not there.2) The brakes were supposed to be fixed as per the videos. Unfortunately they were not. We had to put in a lot of effort to fix the brakes. But could never get that properly fixed.3) Finally the gears did not function. The mechanics concluded that the gear box was faulty.4) It is always advisable to buy a cycle from offline shops where they are already assembled.

Worth for price

I brought it for my 8 years old son. it was delivered promptly. but the assembly service provided by housejoy was poor.two guys came and it seems they didnt knew how to assemble the cycle properly. i think they didnt had much training for it. they screwed up the brake fittings(both front and rear), mudguard(they didn't know where to fix it) and after doing this work they even asked for TIP which i have to declined after looking at the poor work they have done.also before coming to the house they marked this service as done and then they come to my home for assembly after 2 hours.After assembling when we inflated the tyres, rear tyre was not holding air. i ended up going to a local cycle shop and he found that tube was cut from one place. this may be because before shipping when they assembled tube and tyre they didnt care much. HERO as a company needs to take care of it.this cycle is nice and worth the money if you can get it assembled properly.

Hero cycle is Excellent product... it is worth for money. I felt very happy for the purchase through evergreen online shopping mall Amazon.
