Very sturdy and was quick/easy to put together!

I got this step stool today.PROSIt's nice solid woodMOST of it (all the parts you'll touch) are pretty well sandedAll the parts were includedIt's cute and sturdyThe parts do fit together if you have a hex wrench of your ownCONS1.THE BIGGEST ISSUE: the hex wrench that came with this is SOFT mine stopped working because it got misshapen (soft metal?) WEIRD... SO I had to use my OWN hex wrench and that allowed me to screw it up perfectly2. Annoying and odd based on the REST of the wood being REALLY well sanded, the larger step is NOT properly finished and it's not rounded to fit the slot where it gets screwed in. There are splinters in the edges (but once you fit it together those won't show)3. not the best hardwareOVERALLI found it simple to assemble once I got out my own solid hex wrenchThough the larger step seems not to fit, it actually did screw together wellScrew each piece in on each side without fully tightening screwsOnce ALL the screws are placed THEN tighten them all upNote to seller/manufacturer GET HARDER HEX WRENCHES and hardware!

This was the perfect addition to our kid's bathroom. The box comes with all the pieces seen but no instructions or build manual. Honestly, while I feel I am handy, I think it is very easy to assemble and virtually idiot-proof. The grooves in the side make it clear which side faces in. The steps can go either way, just select the grain you like to face up. The Allen key included is great but cheap and seemed to bend and deform easily. I could have probably finished all 8 screws with it but it is a standard 5/32 key so I just completed the build with my own tool. The screws have a good size bite so they dig into the wood well and that stool is not going to wobble at all. It seems durable for kids to use daily and looks great in the end.

The bottom shelf did not fit in the cutout for it. It is not sanded down enough. It has square edges that don’t quite fit. The top shelf fit. I’m too lazy to return it so it will just have 1 step. It would have been a great buy if not for that.

My toddler likes this set stool a lot. We had two different ones before this one but one was way too large and bulky, and the other one was too small and folded so she could get her finger caught in it. This once seems like a good in between. Very sturdy. Doesn't fold or collapse so we had to find a place to store it when it's not being used. The pieces did not fit perfectly and my husband had to shove the first piece in, but after that, it was very fast and simple to put together.

I ordered this step tool for my toddler to use in our kitchen. He loves to help out during cooking and loves getting things by himself, instead of grabbing him a dining chair to step on so he can reach things by himself, I decided to get him this one. It has a smiley face design on the side. Assembling was really easy, my toddler was able to help out screwing his step tool together. And he loves it.

It was a nightmare to put this thing together. It hurt my fingers so bad. I kept trying so hard to turn and twist the handles to put it together, and it was almost impossible. One of the screws did not go all the way in it made me quite disappointment, but it is what it is not even worth sending it back

This little stool was easy to put together and is strong, steady, and stable. It’ll hold up to an adult’s weight and is perfect for small little one’s short legs to be able to step up and down with ease and no fear. It’s just perfect & not too heavy to move from one place to another.
